Discussion: Everyone Else Felt Just As Uncomfortable As You Watching That Kushner Interview

This guy is creepy. Super Creepy like a child molester.

I have no doubt. Ivanka uses a strap on. On him.

You’re trying to kill me.

I’m still trying to figure out how “I wasn’t involved” could possibly be an answer to the question of whether birtherism is racist. If anything it would be the opposite: someone might say that because I was so deeply involved I can’t pass an objective judgment on the issue. But because he wasn’t personally involved he can have no opinion at all?

My theory is that it is one more indication of how corrupt and self-interested this guy is, since it shows how automatic it is for him to think about everything only in terms of how it harms and benefits him personally—so much so that it is almost inconceivable to him that you could ever evaluate anything in which you didn’t have a personal stake.

How dare anyone question the Crown Prince of the GOP. There is a chain saw waiting for this journalist in the future?

Maybe they dusted off Trump-brand Ken Doll with the idea that if would increase credibility of his about-to-be-unveiled Middle East Peace Plan.

I just watched a town hall featuring Pete Buttigieg, who’s a year younger than JK. Hard to believe these two people exist on the same planet.

He wasn’t a legacy admission,. His father bought his son’s way into Harvard.

I think this is how a lot of people amass the fortunes they do, because they serve themselves first and foremost without even thinking about how their actions might affect others. They don’t think at all. I watched that interview, and it is horrifying. That this man is where he is, it just makes me think of soulless evil. “I wasn’t involved?” What kind of effing answer is that? “Just following orders?”

Him and Bibi, they are such lost souls, the children of abusers become abusers themselves.

Evil is never “radical,”… it is
only extreme, and… it possesses neither depth nor any demonic
dimension… It is “thought- defying”… because thought tries to reach
some depth, to go to the roots, and the moment it concerns itself with
evil, it is frustrated because there is nothing. That is its “banality.”

And This is the man with the plan for Peace in the Middle East?
There must be a special class of White House Staffer whose job it is to make sure somebody winds up this putz. That interview sounded like he needed to be wound up about 5 minutes in, but by that time, it was too late.
The Chinese/Russians/Saudis who eavesdrop on his phone calls must have strong constitutions, in order to keep from laughing themselves utterly sick.
Maybe Kushner can find a better job with the Israelis. Somebody check with that creep Dermer-maybe he needs a change of footstool.

That was more bothsiderist BS from TPM.

Hello, @nicole_lafond, the criticism wasn’t partisan. The criticism was entirely objective and a recognition of an appalling reality. The lack of any criticism coming from Republicans certainly was partisan, however. You’re welcome.

Me, I’m going with “not actually alive”.

Great comment. In terms of money, it was Ivanka who married above her station. She brought notoriety to the marriage and not much else.

That’s an excellent quote. It’s quite applicable to Trump generally. At his core there is simply nothing—nothing interesting or shocking, nothing to understand.Just nothing. The same with Trumpism.
