Discussion: Everyone Else Felt Just As Uncomfortable As You Watching That Kushner Interview

It’s not the nepotism that is most disconcerting, but the level of shallowness and ineptness of someone who is in an important policy making position. While appointing family members is never a good idea, not all relatives are so out of their depths when it comes to the issues and policy implementation. It was wrong that Robert Kennedy was nominated and confirmed to be AG under JFK, at least Bobby was qualified for the position, and unlike the current AG, he could push back against the President instead of being a dishonest sycophant. Sadly Kushner is just one of many totally unqualified and unfit members of this administration…

With hardly any expression on Jared’s face in combination with no wrinkles and skin smooth as a boy’s at age 38, would it be way out of line to think botox? Sorry if someone else got there first.

I think some sort of pact with the Devil is a more likley explanation.

Oh my! You could be right.

The criticism was predictably partisan.

I did not get a sense from the article that Republicans actually defended the guy.

“Partisan” tends to mean there are two camps. Hard to see any “pro-Kushner” camp here.

Even with the nicely-crafted switcheroo, what stands out most to me is how they always both look profoundly sad and angry at the same time. Her daddy is one hell of a hostage-taker.

I agree entirely with your point, but really – his FIRST mistake? I don’t think so.

And then they’d have to explain to him what it is and how it works.

Imagine what a treat it is for Jared, too. Here’s a guy trying to get through puberty, and Daddy Dearest keeps reminding his little princess about the studly one he coulda bought her.

In the early 1960s, the John Birchers were raising children who in their teens were classic narcissistic brats exactly like Kushner: arrogant, self-important and contemptuous of the ordinary people around them.

Nauseated is really the perfect word.

Was the Holocaust racist? Or were there good people on both sides?

Look into his eyes and you see the back of his head.

And, yet, he’s going to fix all the problems in the middle east.
Yes, that’s snark.

Just watch (and laugh) at the highlights. Here’s one:

Asked whether he believed the Palestinians were capable of governing themselves without Israeli interference, Kushner said: “That’s one that we’ll have to see. The hope is that they, over time, will become capable of governing”.

How to not solve the Palestinian equation 101.

Is there anyone less competent to make peace in the Middle East than Jared?

What a pathetic display! No wonder his dad went to prison. Like father, like son.
