Discussion: Even Steve Bannon Thought Birthright Issue Was Too Hot For Oval Office To Touch

So whose idea was it to bring it up at this point? Kelly, Miller? Did Spanky come up with it on his own? I hope it costs the Repugs several seats. At some point we will find out what Spanky’s base amounts to as he get more and more extreme.

You know it must be Stephen “No more anchor baby janitors” Miller

Melania stayed in the US without legal authorization. Does that mean Barron is an anchor baby?

Probably Miller, that’s my guess anyway

It does seem like some someone gave “I’m not a baby” Trump a list of things that are not within presidential powers, and he of course took it as a challenge.

There’s also the fact that telling him he shouldn’t say something before the election is an absolute guarantee that he will.

It’s the election that’s driving this. This is just another shiny object that will rile up his base and distract R;s opponents from real campaign issues. It’s another “Hey! Look at me! I’m saying something outrageous!” moment.

Yes, it’s stupid and unconstitutional, and dangerous, and Democrats (and all Americans) should respond to it forcefully. On November 7th.

It was So FUNNY to ‘me’ that Trump brought Steve Miller to the Philadelphia synagogue, an actual white supremacist. To a Jewish synagogue.

but SM is Jewish, at least by birth… (and it’s Stephen Miller, there are other Millers around ).

and the synagogue is in Pittsburgh

Um, don’t you mean Nov. 6th? The 7th would be too late.

No, the 7th. Post-election. The point is that it has to be pushed back against, but right now it’s just distracting from actual election efforts.

I think this is a sloppy “kitchen-sink” attempt to fling every racist bigoted proposition out there to encourage the dwindling trump base to vote.

Most campaigns try to persuade undecided voters from the middle of the spectrum, but this administration reaches for the fringes by openly proclaiming extremist hate-filled rhetoric that serves as the crack to which they’ve become addicted.

Where else can they go from here? By the weekend they’ll be hinting that the troops on the border will be shooting to kill anyone brown who gets too close.

I keep getting Stephen and Steven mixed up; once I think I am sure somebody else makes the same mistake and then I am confused again, I called him Heydrich Lite because he looks like that Nazi to me. Same baleful expression. I have seen him ‘smile’ and even that is frightening.
