I agree with Yoo (shower time, ugh). But even still he couldn’t resist an attack on Jefferson and Roosevelt (and by liberals) when the most hostile President to the Judiciary was by far was the rightwing populist Andrew Jackson who when the SCOTUS ruled against him just said “now let them enforce it!” and went about to continue to massacre Native Americans.

With Trump, I’m not sure that even being lily white is that much protection. He seems to be an equal-opportunity character assassin. Race, creed, color, national origin, or previous condition of servitude do not seem to be the basic criteria of Trump’s opprobrium. It seems to be entirely a matter of how willing one is to render obeisance to the August Presence.
