Human rights groups really need to put some more thought into their position. If simply taking in an unending stream of refugees is not an option, then have they no suggestions at all on how else to handle the situation? This has been going on for years and their only solution is to settle more and more refugees in Europe? And when Europe breaks out with a xenophobia that makes the current right wing regimes look like Mother Teresa, then what? Just more complaining? Things are getting worse, not better. Italy cannot absorb this many people in dire need. So are the human rights groups considering alternatives to “solutions” that are failing?
