Given the rumors about Trump’s past use of amphetamines, I’m not sure of “seventh speed of the night” is a misquote (seventh speech makes more sense in context) or is just one hell of a Freudian slip.

And therein lies the basic problem with Trump. He only sees people in terms of how they can personally benefit him. This is why goes out of his way to alienate our allies, because they don’t “pay their fair share”. This is why he hates people from" s***hole countries", because he sees them as freeloaders instead people who can help grow his portfolio. This is why he courts white nationalists, because they will pay exorbitant amounts of money into his Super PAC to help him get re-elected. This is why only pays attention to Fox & Fake Friends, because they “pay” him with adulation and positive reinforcement. This is why he approved of this sham of a Tax bill, because it allows him to benefit more from his personal tax returns, while making the rest of us pay more than our fair share. This is why he has affairs with porn stars, because they enhance his sense of “manhood”, plus it keeps him in the news, which he believes sells newspapers.

and This is why it says in 1 Timothy 6:9-10: “Those who want to be rich, however, fall into temptation and become ensnared by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. By craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.”

Actually I read somewhere that according to her friend Alana Evans, Trump is—hold on, you won’t believe it—not really, let us say, the answer to anyone’s maidenly prayers. :smile: She wasn’t specific but she doesn’t really have to be. People can be a lousy lay for many reasons but they’re still a lousy lay.

He obviously has too much energy to sit down, read, and learn a little about government, policy issues, foreign relations, perhaps some of the legislation he supports and then doesn’t support in the course of 2 minutes - you know, president kinds of things. Maybe one of those standing desks with a treadmill is what he needs…
