Yeah, why have independent scientists on the Board of Scientific Counselors. That just slows things down by bringing up things like, you know, science.
And Hillary would have totally done this and replaced them all with Goldman Sachs, Wall Street executives who contributed to the Clinton Foundation.
Wanna bet Bachmann is on a short-list here somewhere?? (And that it was Pence who put her name in.)
Not sure where to find the link, but very pertinent is a story from Australia about testimony of an oil executive, who admitted that his company’s internal projections were for 4C temperature rise by 2100. He said he was providing good shareholder value.
Right after she rounded up all the right wing conservatives and put them in FEMA reeducation camps
Her 100 days would have been awesome
What could go wrong?
I’m kind of leaning towards concentration/re-education camps myself.
They should be located at places which were at sea level in the year 1990.
For me, the worst part about this is that I am dismayed, but no longer surprised. This kind of insanity and utter stupidity is normal.
Replacing scientists with industry allies? Let me show you my surprised face.
What continues to surprise me, actually blow my mind, is the number of people that were willing to vote for this, or risk this possibility.
“The administrator believes we should have people on this board who understand the impact of regulations on the regulated community,” he added.
“It is important to have the point of view of major polluters before considering regulating pollutants. One man’s pollution is another man’s livelihood.”
I hate that guy with the passion that burns like a 1000 suns.
It’s fair to say people who voted for him thought little of this kind of thing but only of a wall, immigration and the wonderfulness of a business tycoon who’d do something better than a woman who’d been in government for decades.
Because, of course.
These are the same bright bulbs that claimed we don’t need NOAA because we have the Weather Channel.
Do you hate him more than Tom Price? I can’t easily say, myself.
Made all the easier after Obama confiscated their guns.
I wish Obama had confiscated all their fake diplomas.
@vagalky23 I agree with you. Plus, Price’s policies may decrease the surplus population, leading to a lower impact on the environment.
Actually I do. I’m a nature photographer and outdoors gal that loves to travel so it means a lot to me. Not that health care doesn’t, it’s just that everyone cares about people, especially children (which is fine of course) but I’ve always been a lover of the underdog and things that can’t fight for themselves.
“May replace?” May? It’s as certain as that the sun will rise tomorrow. In the east.
Obama’s speech last evening was such a reprieve from reality. What makes it a lasting glow is the knowledge that his elegance and competence is a persistent source of insecurity for this wreck of a man who temporarily holds the highest office in the land.
Here you go. It was the chairman of Santos:
