Discussion: EPA Blocks AP, CNN From National Summit On Harmful Water Contaminants

Only AP could report out a critical story directly about its ability to do it’s putative job in a fashion that’s about as engaging and interesting as an LA weather forecast.

If they used any words of outrage they’d be labeled “Liberal” and you know how much the press hates that.

Slightly O/T, my grandson graduates from high school today. What kind of a world is he entering? Not the country I imagined it would be for him. When my granddaughter graduated from H.S. five years ago I did not feel the same fear. Dog help us

Because it might be dangerous if the public found out? Get me a better Cone Of Silence!

Their collective pussies have been grabbed. Same with the mainstream media, who should be loudly publicizing this outrage to their business model and the 1st Amendment. Instead, they treat Trump as something to monetize more than analyze/criticize.

Needs a conference-sized cone of silence, not just a phone booth. All that water-contamination stuff is hush-hush.

Not going to happen.

None more than the editors of AP, whose business primarily consists of selling national news to local dailies and weeklies.

Let’s all celebrate the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend.

The meeting, convened in Washington by EPA chief Scott Pruitt, was open to invited media only, EPA spokesman Jahan Wilcox said.

So, the Russian press was there?

So there was nothing in the news about lethal water contaminants.

I can only assume the EPA and White House know nothing about the danger, and aren’t going to do anything about it.

Otherwise, they’d be boasting about it in the news, but… nothing.

Can we get a list of the “news” organizations that were on the invitation list?

Or is that classified? (I hear there is a new classification stamp: “P”, for whatever Pruitt doesn’t want you to know).

Maybe the only reporters there were from Fox, Breitbart, StormFront and InfoWars?

How is this even legal as we as tax payers are paying for Pruitt’s salary and then some apparently. This is the job he signed up for whether he likes it or not.

Fuck him.

Barring the public from any public meeting is illegal. Having only “invited” members of the public to a public meeting is illegal. Reporters shouldn’t even be made to identify themselves as reporters in a public meeting.

Assuming it is a public meeting.

Who the f*ck are these security guards?

Are they the security guards who normally provide security for the building?

Or, are they some of the guards goons from Pruitt’s expensive, round-the-clock, private security detail?

And a whole lot of “likes”.
