I enthusiastically support Senator Warren as our vice presidential nominee. She would galvanize the ticket like a lightening bolt.

I understand about control of the senate, but the presidency for 4-8 years is a light year ahead of an interim Republican senator for 3-6 months (until a special election). Senator Warren would propel the ticket into an almost insurmountable position. That is a very big deal.

I also understand those that feel that her role and influence would be diminished as a vice president. I think that she would make the job fit her, rather than her fitting the job. With her talents, energy, and communication skills she could completely redefine the office.

And finally, let us not forget, the nomination and election of Senator Warren as a U.S. Vice President would be history SQUARED!

An electrifying campaign, the presidency, a charismatic vice president, and two glass ceilings in shatters.

That’s a pretty solid list of upsides.

Not to mention that they both know how to KICK BUTT.

Fuck Schumer. Warren should be Senate Majority Leader next year.

Take a look at Exhibit A in Clinton’s struggle to get Bernie’s backers to vote for her.

It warms my heart every time she does this.

There is no way Trump’s skeletons stay under wraps. I think Dems are waiting for the convention so DT really, truly secures the nominiation, and then all hell breaks loose. I think defending the darkest aspects of his own personal life and businesses will be very very time and energy consuming. Trump U is the tip of the iceberg.

I’d worry about two very strong-willed, politically savvy individuals with different priorities…Could Warren put her passions on the slow track for 4/8 years? Would you want her to?

Bearing in mind that the VP matters little (Palin excepted), Warren would be a great pick, but I gotta go with Julian Castro, TX. Trump has made Mexican-Americans the issue. So a young articulate Mexican-American would galvanize support for Hillary and perhaps generate as high as 90% turnout among some Hispanic ethnicities… and perhaps even help make red states like Texas, AZ, Missouri and Georgia go blue.

I don’t want to just beat them. We need to kick ass and take names all the way down ticket.

(Edit) I think the only candidate better than the keynote speaker at the 2012 convention would be a war vet with the same qualifications.

It will be glorious to see Trump have to fritter away precious electioneering time having to respond to these kinds of firebombs from Warren, Obama, and the rest of the Dems up until election day. And Trump is so fucking thin-skinned that he can never ignore a slight. I’m surprised he hasn’t called Obama a ni**er yet, but there’s still plenty of time for that to happen. I wouldn’t put it past him but, knowing the Trumpster, he’ll get that Demonic Dwarf of Detritus, Jeff Sessions, to do it for him.

ā€œTrump has repeatedly called Warren ā€˜Pocahontas’ in reference to her Native American heritage.ā€

So the GOP’s Native-American outreach is succeeding as well as its Hispanic outreach.

I like her and the policies she proposes, but I really wish she’d just ignore Trump. I think he’d go away faster if she did.

Nominate Arizona US Congressman Raul Grijalva for VP, if you want Republican heads to explode. He was the first congressman to endorse Sanders and is co-chair, along with Keith Ellison, of the House Progressive Caucus. His father came to the United States under the Bracero program. He’s got a few shady issues in his past when he was a Latino activist, but with Trump cornering the market on stupid things I did in my past, I’m not sure that much matters.

I initially thought I was kidding when I started writing this, but he’s not the worst choice. He’s quick on his feet and would drive Trump into fits of rage.

Look, Warren crossed a line here. Donald says he is not thin-skinned. Let’s take him at his word, and have her attack the ā€œthick-skinned foolā€.

Every time Warren trolls Trumpty Dumpty, he has another Twitter meltdown, thereby damaging his campaign again.

How could you want that to stop?
