There has already been one Congressional investigation and it didnā€™t come up with anything wrong. Sour grapes, perhaps on the part of the sore loser Republicans?

If at first you do not succeed, continue to wail and moan and make an *ss of yourself again? Gadaffi killed our ambassador and the White House saw that he was killed. Thatā€™s how it works if you are competent. But not if you are a Bush.

President Reagan did the same thing to Libya by bombing Gadaffiā€™s compound and killing one of his adopted kids when the dictator killed people and wounded over 300 at a club in Germany in a terrorist bombing. Doesnā€™t anyone in the GOP remember St. Reagan any longer?

And Bush never caught nor avenged the death of one of these dead Americans. So what is the select committee going to find wrong with how fast President Obama made sure Gaddafi paid for letting our ambassador being ambushed? Just like Bin Lauden, Obama always gets his man.

Even their timing is messed up.(For them, great for us.) What this is all about is smearing Hillary. By the time they get their noses rubbed in it, the election will still be months away, and they will have disaffected nearly everyone.

Abusing HIllary like Ariel Castro did those three women for a decade isnā€™t going to set well with women voters in the Midterms. The GOP has already been beating up on her for two decades. Watch Limbaugh or one of the other TeaParty crackpots call her a slut and it will put the last nail in their Senate campaign coffin.

You can always depend on one of those loudmouth bigots like Todd Akin to come through for Democrats when they most need it. The timing of this ā€œtrialā€ is perfect for bringing out the worst in their party at the most advantageous period before the election. Great stupid strategy on someones part.

I agree with all of your comments.

However, was the membership of those committees equally balanced or did the majority party have more? It just seems that making the 7-5 ratio the chief talking point is a distraction and wasted talking point if it conforms to traditional practice.
