The French need an NRA. If all those tourists were packing heat, the pickpockets would….um, okay, maybe that isn’t the right angle on this.

The NRA is eternally grateful to OBL and President Obama for the fear and loathing that has increased weapons sales dramatically.
Funny thing, if you travel at all in Europe you realize there are lots of criminals there—pickpockets, flimflam artists, all that sort of thing. You have to be careful about it. But there are relatively few people who stick a gun in your ribs and take your money—they do it other, gun-free ways.
