As we all know, Assange, and his hangers on, are dedicated to “truth and transparency”, especially from those they feel have wronged them personally, regardless of how much they deserved it.
But hey, you go right on ahead protecting him from facing justice for his crimes (like, you know… rape) because, you know, imminent drone strikes/assassination squads from the US that are soooo known to be used against high profile white foreign nationals… we do it all the time.

Assange does himself no favours by interfering in our election. If had the balls he would have faced his Swedish accusers and defended himself. Instead he is holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy and now interfering in our election. I read some of the stuff: it is typical campaign manoeuvring, dealing with issues and making plays. These are things all our politicians do. To conflate this stuff is so yesterday!!!

This indicates that they have an active investigation going on. The DKos article indicates that the parents have the actual videochat log files, which is how they knew it was definitely Assange.
I can’t remember where I read the other article. Whatever the truth of the matter, the question of whether there is an investigation is concrete, and we will know for sure soon.
