Don’t forget that unemployment shot up to 10 percent several months into Obama’s first year.

So I see. To err is human.
I don’t follow as many links as I should but the BLS one is really worthwhile, I highly recommended it to everyone. You avoid spin and the report is very succinct, only a couple of pages, the rest is all tables and a faq. And there’s always a couple of nice charts, like this one:

Anyway with the +32,000 in adjustments the total gain is really 312,000. Cheers.

The ‘economy’ and President Obama are synonymous. If the ‘economy’ adds hundreds of thousands of jobs, then President Obama added them as well. Its a symbiotic relationship.
Bush was a puppet, a dumbass and a war President and his legacy reflects that. President Obama is a leader, vastly intelligent and unfortunately, is locked into Bush’s war.
Credit has to be given where credit is due and the economy has to be viewed as where we were compared to where we are and where we are heading as well as just today’s numbers.
