Another reason why its so hard for Sanders to attack Obama.

And yet the economy is in a shambles. I blame Obama.

Let’s give a big thanks to President Romney for all of his hard work and for letting Detroit go bankrupt.

We have lower unemployment and more jobs every month. Yet the economy is still bad because…
Gas prices are too low?
Wall Street is worried?
Not everyone has a job yet?
Ebola?
Remind me, why is everyone complaining about the economy again?

Victory dance! Although +151K is barely maintenance level. We still need a stimulus.

Well, that ought to send the Dow plummeting. They hate it when the plebes start getting ahead. Because Fed rate increase argle bargle blorp.

The truth is most of the people doing the trading that causes the daily swings (and thereby cause the trading programs to go bonkers and make them bigger) just don’t believe that growth is fueled by demand. They live in a world where the size of the pie is fixed and any share the plebes get is a share they’re not getting.

Well in terms of stocks, its worry about oil and a slow down with China.
In terms of US economy its wage stagnation.

Thanks Obama

This is why we can’t let Republicans regain the White House. Obama is headed toward exiting office with a significantly better economy than when he entered (reminder: he inherited the worst economic recession since the Great Depression). If, say, Trump wins, watch how quickly they pivot to hailing it the “Trump economy, yay!” from day 1, if not before he takes office. The media sure as shit wouldn’t call them out on it in any meaningful, and the population at large would buy it because a Facebook image meme and Limbaugh said so. Then when the GOP destroys the economy again, they’d pivot back to “It was all the stuff Obama did now taking effect!”.i And our country will continue to get nowhere.

This can’t be right! Obama is ALWAYS wrong…he’s a petulant child. He has no leadership skills. He never talks to Republicans. Whas’ up?

"If, say, Trump wins, watch how quickly they pivot to hailing it the “Trump economy, yay!” from day 1, if not before he takes office. "

Remember, in mid-November 2008, when Sean Hannity called the Crash of 2008 the “Obama recession”?

Good times.

Yeah. He’s black militant racist. To him, EVERYTHING’S about race!

“And yet the economy is in a shambles. I blame Obama.”

Yes. All those people having to get up in their own 2BR apartment and go to work every morning instead of crashing on a friend’s couch or park bench as long as they want. Thanks Obama. Next thing you know everyone will be working a real job instead of going off to some unnecessary war to get killed for almost minimum wage… Or if they’re lucky enough to survive to return to a GOP-gutted VA.

Edit: What I want to know is how is it possible that a prez with his domestic and foreign policy record is barely 49-50 favorability in the polls? You would think people who watch Fox News have it in their heads that everything bad that happened in the Bush-Cheney years happened on Obama’s watch.

I love the one about gas prices being too low as a serious existential problem. That one kills me whenever I hear some Wall Street toady mouthpiece on TV try to explain how the glut of oil on the market translates into bad times for everyone.

No, no, no… Not everyone folks. Its great for renewables, great for weening ourselves off of fossil fuels, great for the environment, and great for that classic kitchen table budgeting I do every month.
