After the news of this presser broke, I think they should’ve sent it 30 seconds later demanding it immediately. Not by morning. Not by Friday. Right the fuck now.
He can help in a few spots, but we know the contours of his specific role and Mueller’s report covers a much wider scope than Cohen’s range of actual knowledge (not hearsay).

Michael Cohen to the rescue!
Barr and the White House are never going to willingly hand over the full, unredacted report. The House will have to prevail upon the courts to order it, and from what I read in various places there’s a serious question the courts would uphold whatever basis the House asserts for getting all of it. The lone path most legal scholars seem to agree would eventually results in the House getting the report intact is if it was demanded as part of the impeachment process. It would seem it’s the only legal claim the House has that won’t get shot down at SCOTUS.

Oh I’m sure they wouldn’t hand it over, but instead of issuing the subpoena some time today (maybe), they should’ve been filing suit this morning and holding a vote for contempt of congress.
