Well, that would be a great example under the definition of “self-evident.”
“Some people have said that” … Rudy is exacting subconscious revenge on the moron for not giving him the AG job or another cabinet position. Makes sense in the world of the insane.
Reports that say that something hasn’t happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don’t know we don’t know. And if one looks throughout the history of our country and other free countries, it is the latter category that tend to be the difficult ones.
And oldie, but a goodie from Donald Rumsfeld
DD’s scoop was less shoeleeather journalisma than gumspats clubbing. Lately, Possede Deutchy’s been stepping out into NYC’s Lights Fantasia with the former Mrs. Donald J. “Marla” (née Marples) Trump. Odds on Donny and Marla bumping into La Donald’s prime freelance fixer at a given NYC blanc haute celeb hot spot on a given weekniite? Bordering on 1:1, I’d posit.
Stepping out with Marla Maples. LOL! That’s like a Hollywood starlet sleeping with David O. Selznick’s janitor thinking it will get her the part of Scarlett O’Hara in “Gone With The Wind”.
Sounds like Cohen has figured out his looking up at the under carriage of a bus now.
So, to sum up:
All Trump’s lawyers have lawyers.
The lawyers don’t talk to each other.
None of the lawyers have a security clearance, preventing them from accessing some Russia materials.
The lawyers each go on conservative TV talk shows then must have Huckabee Sanders walk everything back that afternoon.
The next morning? A new round of Trump Tweets creates another toxic stew of confusion and lawsuits and whatever he just saw on Fox.
Run for office, register people to vote then get to the polls.
You know, a Congress with a conscience and a spine can put a stop to most of this infantile crap.
Completely unrelated, but man that’s an ugly jacket Cohen is wearing besides looking too small.
“I spoke with Michael Cohen yesterday and his quote about Giuliani was: He doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” Deutsch said
Actually he probably knows too much, but confused about what he’s supposed to talk about because he talked to Donald about it.
Somewhere a VW is missing its seat covers.
It’s getting to the point that the lawyers hired by Trump’s lawyers are going to have to hire lawyers. It’s like “Inception” for the American Bar Association.
Love Cohen’s suit jacket! If he had any muscle tone whatsoever instead of 99.9% body flab, he would look like “The Incredible Hulk” bursting out of his clothes.
The jacket looks like it was designed by Ivanka Trump.
Oh, let me correct myself. What I meant to say was, 'The jacket looks like a design ripped off by Ivanka Trump".
Good friggin’ lord, if Drumpf’s band of Keystone Cops is this incompetent, this disorganized, this laughably bad at their jobs, just think about what’s going on with global “negotiations” and “plans” being conducted by other Drumpf clowns. These are clumsy, stupid, amateur blunders that a rookie lawyer would know not to do. The inmates really are running the asylum.
It’s nice to see that neither Trump nor Cohen listen to their lawyers.
Dumb and Dumberer
No conscience needed. Just follow their damn oath of office.
I agree with Cohen that when it comes to legal advice, Rudy Giuliani doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
However, when it comes to fashion advice…
Donny Deutch strikes a liberal pose, but there’s still something slimy about him. A little too self-promoting, too loud and full of faux outrage for my taste.
He certainly hasn’t heard many encouraging words from the White House. They’re taking turns kicking him while he’s down. Bye bye Mikie!
Good question. All I know is that Donny Deutsch was or still is a Madison Ave. PR type guy, and another one born on third base. That’s really all he ever was until he got on the morning punditry list of famous blowhards. He then managed to get himself a very short stint on a now cancelled sitcom. Seems like he’s been trying to break into showbiz his whole life with little to show for it. I have no idea why anyone thought he would be good as a leading sitcom character. Now he’s a regular pundit professing to be of the liberal persuasion, though I imagine he’s quite flexible in that regard too should another opportunity present itself to him from which he can profit.
Knowing Cohen seems to be his only value these days, but even if that’s the case, he provides very little true insight if all he does is give Cohen a venue to speak without having to really speak on the record. It comes across as hearsay, easily denied, in the same way as comments by Giuliani were made about Cohen. Maybe Cohen is paying him to be his PR guy. That’s more in keeping with Deutsch’s actual expertise. It really doesn’t seem that Deutsch is a close friend of Cohen’s either…just someone he knows from being in NY and mingling in similar circles.
