Itās a businessy thing, where the people who are supposed to be prepared are peons and underlings. Secretaries need to be prepared. Itās not cool for deciders to know things before they pull the trigger. They just waltz in at the last moment with nothing in their hands, which shows they are in charge, which is the whole point. There is no other point. The mystique is just magically being right, no matter what, even if you are wrong. Not a coincidence heās a casino con artist. The fantasy is in just being magically lucky, the gods just make me win every time.
The CEO is the con artist, the VPās are the shills, everyone else is a mark. Boom, capitalism.

One of my five year olds wants to be Hillaryās running mate. I explained that he doesnāt meet the qualifications, nor does he have time in his schedule. Furthermore, what does he have to add to the ticket?
However, all of those considerations are ones that I am sure Ben will ignore when looking for a scapegoat.

In recent years itās been customary for the convention delegates to nominate the VP selection of the presidential nominee. But that choice is still up to the delegates, and I wouldnāt be surprised, in this case, it they chose not to go with the Donaldās choice. Itād be a way for them to try to get someone on the ticket whoās more to their liking, and maybe to piss off the Donald.
