The clueless apple doesnât fall far from the clueless tree.
âIf they saw that side of Donald Trump, theyâd say, âWait a minute, thatâs a lot like my family; this is a lot like the way we conduct ourselves,ââ
Yes, if your father was a thrice married, philandering, misogynistic, racist, draft-dodging war monger. Other than that, exactly the same.
Pretty sure that bragging about adultery, multiple divorces, airing your dirty laundry on TV, is not how your average Mormon family conducts itself.
if you could step outside your echo chamber/self reinforcing entourage group of admirers you might actually realize that they think of him the same way as the other ~60% of the countryâŚ
as a raging orange buffoonâŚ
LOL, this time when I got the typical error message about âpost too similarâ it could have been talking about yours. You beat me by seconds.
If The Donald would stop questioning Romneyâs Mormonism, it may help.
âIf they saw that side of Donald Trump, theyâd say, âWait a minute, thatâs a lot like my family; this is a lot like the way we conduct ourselves,'â he told The Daily Universe. (Donald Trump, Jr.)
Is he speaking to the breakaway, conservative sects? â Because, maybe he forgot the mainstream LDS church doesnât condone fucking every blonde money-whore from Eastern Europe.
Douchebag son doesnât understand why douchebag religionists donât support douchebag Dad. PricelessâŚ
Yes but if 40% of the entire country votes for him, weâre fucked. How much anger and hate will he stoke to get people out to vote that never felt they had a person running that speaks their language? Itâs the language of ignorance and racism but it can be a powerful motivator. Even if thatâs not what motivates people to vote, hatred of Hillary will overcome many peoples distaste for Trump.
Looks like they will finally fix this nonsense tonight - comments will be shut down for a few hours at 10p eastern.
About timeâŚ
But that could backfire on the GOP - the anger and hate will also turn out the folks who want no part of that, especially if the Dems are smart and start playing it back with the âis this what you really want, running the country?â type of commercials.
Negative campaigns of that nature are rarely successful.
Hillary has to keep the positive - even taking quotes from Trump and playing the facts position - e.g., joblessness is at an all time high with the Department of Labor graph over the last seven years; the deficit graph in contrast with the claim that the nation is nearly bankrupt, etc., etc., etc.
Thereâs no need for her to get into the mud with him; there is a solid need for her to show the reality against his bluster. Thatâs the campaign, particularly late summer.
Trump: I am a family man. Each of my ex-wives and mistresses will confirm it along with my present wife.
Well, not yet.
Iâd say the Drumpf family is having some success in ânormalizingâ that very behavior.
If you can afford it, of courseâŚ
When has there been a Trump-like campaign in America before?
My hairdresser is actually impressed with how well all three of Donaldâs families get along. Unreal!
This is just one more thing in this rich boyâs life he doesnât get.
Thatâs what surrogates are for.
I think once the primary is decided PBO, Ms. O, VP Biden, and Senator Warren (and how about Senator Al Franken?) will do that job admirably. So far, PBO is the best at it, but once it starts in earnest it will pick up momentum.
Heck, Senator Warren fired the first salvo yesterday and all theDrumpf could manage was a weak âyou mean the Indian?â when asked about it. Pretty pathetic, but then heâs not used to being on the receiving end. I believe heâll be easy to troll; his Republicken competitors are afraid to really get into it because they fantasize about capturing his minions. Our side wonât have that problem.
And no, Iâm not saying Bernie needs to drop out now.
Plenty of time till NovemberâŚ
Well, he has three wives, just like the mormonsâŚ
