I wouldn’t put it quite that way. It’s more there’s an elephant in the room, so to speak. Everyone halfway aware knows he’s crazy. They know he’s guilty. They know he can’t handle the job. Many are in denial, but at some level they know. And they know what they can and ought to do. They’re just too cynical and craven to do it. But Obama planted a bomb underneath him, and you have to hope it blows before we’re all destroyed. Seven days, as you say, before the danger lurches far, far higher. Interesting times.
There are people INSIDE our government that will eventually decide Trump is a dangerous, untrustworthy liability to the survival of the nation, especially if his current conduct and demeanor foretell the manner in which he’ll govern. Something will occur that spurs such people to dispense with the usual legal constraints guiding their actions.
Just say no to reporting all of Drumpf’s inane outbursts.
This is going to be the entire Presidency
Ol’ Kelly is going to have a new show with Donald as the Executive Producer
“Deflecting for Dollars”.
You don’t think that there are people inside the Intel community that have already come to that conclusion? And what we are watching is the early steps towards defanging/removing him?
“My people will have a full report on hacking within 90 days!”
I guess he’s hoping no one will remember this in 3 months, but we don’t all have the retention capacity of a goldfish. I hope he’s not relying on Guiliani for his report:
That should have been done with 90 percent of his media mentions and appearances before he became the front-runner. That was all driven by celebrity and lurid fascination. At this point it all matters, and I’d argue these raw expressions of strain matter most of all. What he’s actually saying is meaningless and inane, but the way he’s saying it, the time of day, the emotional content, oh baby that’s news if anything ever was. We’re almost certainly watching a President-elect unravel in real time.
It’s becoming clear Trump’s only way out is suicide.
Gawd, I hope so. I know there must be a vast number of players viewing his administration as an opportunity to wreak some real havoc (they’ve already started), but I hope they’re coming to realize how uncontrollable he is.
My people will have a full report on hacking within 90 days!
Yep. Rudy Giuliani is going to get to the bottom of this. And pigs are going to fly and Hell is going to freeze over.
Absolutely true…
Here is an explanation…
Always good for Viewing at a time like this. George “Nostradamus” Carlin in 1997
There are some following tweets from Trump and criticizing Democrats whining about the election, having to do with the Comey investigation.
Yeah, I caught that too, doesn’t he ever sleep? Remember all that talk about the 3AM phone call, now we have to worry about him making those calls.
but…but…but Spicer said in a conference call yesterday Trump wanted to move on!
I’m sure there are. However, when mulling the most extreme of options counsel undoubtedly flies around the room to the effect “Let’s be sure A)-We all agree what we’re about to do is our only option and B)-It’s done in a way it can’t be traced back to us, and whatever fall guy is eventually identified doesn’t result in us all in worse straits than we’re in right now.”
I also doubt anyone has as goal defanging him. His absence from office will really be the only option that fixes the problems he poses.
I don’t think he is necessarily unraveling. These sort of outbursts are merely he style, he has done for years.
One of the developing problems however, is that by doing so, he gives any and every intelligence agency in the world a very big window into his emotional state on a constant basis.
That’s a HUGE problem.
All an adversary needs do is conduct a campaign of public insults, some about the most mundane of subjects, and his attention to other issues can be scuttled for the entire day. A few Macedonian teens tweeting about his small hands would blow the White House schedule for an afternoon.
Why would he need 90 days? How long does it take to write a memo that says, "the Russians didn’t do the hacking. It was some fat guy who might be 400 pounds and lived in his basement his moms basement may be. Definitely not the Russians. The Democrats don’t have good protection, the Republicans have the cyber but they didn’t get their cyber hacked. Hillary campaign in the wrong states that’s why she loss. She’s got no energy or she’s low energy. The dossier is all made up by the Republicans and Democrats. I don’t like PEE because I don’t like germs. Except when I’m grabbing pussy but I don’t do that that’s just locker room talk. Therefore the Russians did not do the hacking. No proof. No proof that the dossier is even real. I don’t even know Putin I don’t even know who anyone who has ever been to Prague.
But in a series of tweets.
Look, up in the sky…
its an eagle, no its a goose…
NO… Its the Orange Pretender.
Strange visitor from Midtown Manhattan, able to build tall buildings with a Russian loan…
More powerful than a slow-motion trainwreck.
Faster than a midnight tweet…
Yes, the Orange Pretender, who came to Earth with powers and abilities to lie, cheat and steal, far beyond us normal hoomans…
Almost as if he’s trying to fool Vhatzername…
