I don’t either. actually i don’t care for drunks. and btw, could you tell sheriff joe to kiss my ass?
The only thing OBVIOUS is that Trump is in “damage control mode” … again.
Well, you have to admit he gives himself a bit of an advantage by not trying to explain things away, exactly, but rather by flatly denying he said what he’s on the record as obviously saying.
So-- ‘no guilt by omission’ then?
Be nice if he was asked with hot mic or video running:
Mr Trump? Do you ever say what you mean the first time you say it?

I can relay that to my son who lives in Meas, AZ a suburb of Phoenix. I live 120 miles south in Pima County. We have a far less controversial sheriff (a democrat) who runs a well run office. No Tent City jail here and no pink underwear.
And yet civil order is maintained? Huh.
As a rule of thumb, any time tRump starts a sentence with “I never said…” you can be pretty much assured that he did exactly that.
Maaaaaaaannnnn - I just ate breakfast.
I came here to say that - everyone is making a big deal that “Trump is saying something too extreme even for the NRA!” (see @old_curmudgeon), but in recent years, Georgia, South Carolina, and Ohio (yes, signed by John Kasich) have enacted laws allowing guns to be carried in bars, with NRA support as far as I can tell. Arizona just passed a similar bill last month, which is on the governor’s desk; I can’t see him not signing it since he’s a RWNJ.
Drumpf has evolved as a candidate. He’s got the GOP meme “that was not intended to be a factual statement” down pat lol.
The local weather this time of year may have something to do with it. 112 is forecast for today, and that is a cooling trend after yesterday’s scorcher of 115 degrees.
I have a fondness for ice water these days
Good Lord. But it’s an ill wind, right? Not much street crime when it’s too damn hot to be on the street.
There are trails up into the Catalina Mountains that folks love to hike. I did as well before my knee went bad. Yesterday 3 people died trying to walk the trails. One was in Ventana canyon a very heavily traveled footpath. He was visiting from Europe and probably didn’t understand the danger of heat. Two others were on the Finger Rock trail which in parts is very steep and inaccessible to rescue helicopters. And that couple had water and still it made no difference. In our heat you have to consume vast amounts of H2O to stay hydrated. A gallon every couple of hours if outside. Typically I’ll go outside for a short time chore and will toss back a liter when I’m done. If I drive across town this time of year I pack a liter of frozen H2O with me. It does not stay frozen for long.
Ah yes, that’s right. Thanks.
