Right! The more redacted it is, the more guilty Trump is.
That presupposes a Thursday release. Expect anything, because anything can happen.
Is there anyone on the planet whom Trump has interacted with that his attorneyās havenāt threatened?
yawn
I donāt enjoy anything.
āMost of the time, I donāt have much fun. The rest of the time, I donāt have any fun at all.ā
and here I thought it was merely a phallus, surprised there isnāt a mushroom cap on top
I guess Barr has run out of multi-colored ink.
Agreed. As tempting as it is to make jokes about the released report fitting on a post-it note, they have to walk a fine line between being complicit in an obvious cover-up and spilling all the beans. It really depends on how much Barr is willing to sacrifice of his public persona ( the private one is clearly already eviscerated). If heās worried about being too obviously a shill for Trump, he might leave enough Easter eggs in the report to point journalists and Congressional committees in the right direction.
And thereās always the possibility that the redaction committee will have some integrity. A possibility, not, at this point, a probability.
I think it means that NBC is speculating based on previous Mueller documents.
This entire discussion feels like weāve lost sight of the underlying government-on-fire issue because of a bright red balloon, the issue of the authorized House committees being flat-out denied a copy of the original mueller report.
For the US attorney general to ignore congress and only provide a redacted report to the public and congress at the same time is a god damn slap in the face to the House with Barr smirking saying āwhat ya gonna do?ā.
Yeah, but Trumpās got more junk in da trunk.
Past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior.
The disrespect of the Democratic House is palpable.
āYou urchins get the public version. Thatās all you can handleā
Make no mistakeā¦after Trump, we are going to have to re-educate the American People as to what kind of government they had.
Could be, but then a bunch of those were because they were referencing on-going investigations. So if thereās still a lot of that, undermines the whole NO COLLUSION! argument.
I have little confidence that much of interest will be released. However, the upcoming beige information dump, devoid of the landmarks of actual criminal charges and their elements, will likely trigger something akin to autism in the public mind. We should see a pretty weird weekend on the cable shows. I donāt recall John Mitchell, or indeed anybody in the Nixon White House, ready to go to the mat like Barr seems to be. I guess we live in changed circumstances. Itās okay to have a buffoon who plays strong-man leader flouting the rule of law in a multi-polar world that has abandoned international cooperation and institutions.
So what is that, about a month to redact everything but a few easily explainable fupaws, and thatās the end of that
Yes. My guess: The released version will motivate someone, somewhere, to leak the original in full.
Why arenāt they redacting Trumpās tweets when they reference ongoing investigations, grand jury matters, or unindicted citizens?
what Iāve been thinking anyone with access brave enough to leak it. in my lifetime I have seen the least likely person be a hero. not much to hang your hat on except faith In good people and if it has information important to the security of the United States. iāll hang my hat on that
More like 7-2 off suit, but yeah.
My bet is that they already have, to Congress. And Congress is just waiting for the official version so they know whatās being covered up, and how to structure their attack.
