Kind of makes you wonder what exactly they are advising him on.
Anyone that believes that the Wall Streeters or the Real Esnakes are advising Trounce about governance are smoking stale yams.
The rule is, its all about money and the second rule is-never forget rule #1.
They divest from the most egregious investments/entanglings and that is supposed to suffice and make everyone say, Oh its cool that they are just still tied to the rest of their mega million dollar real estate deals. Ummm, no, in fact-Hell No!
Never let your guard down with this collection of criminals. Everything that they are is compromised by money, its that simple.
Not sure that this should shock anybody. From what I heard most of the forms filled out by various appointed or approved individuals were not filled out correctly. And some of them openly defied ethics rules. It is what happens when the party in Congress ignores the rules for their side. Ethics do not matter for the GOP. Business conflicts of interest are to be supported at all costs.
It is already majorly wrong that Trump can directly pump millions of tax payer dollars into his resorts and the like. I feel this would be a problem even if he did not go often or his wife was in the WH. However, they are exploiting it.
Purist and whiner/embarrassed loser are not the same thing.
From what Iâve seen, purists are more flys in the ointment that just wonât join in and would rather hurt and do damage than help.
Their positive input is obviously received or else they couldnât be claiming to be the ones that have made all the good stuff happen. But any real reflection on what their own intransigence causes is not happening.
âCharles K. L. Brand, secretary to the Mayor of New York City, happened to be standing nearest Smurch; he looked inquiringly at the President of the United States. The President, pale, grim, nodded shortly.â
Rereading James Thurberâs classic (and hilarious) short-story âThe Greatest Man in the Worldâ, and contemplating our very own Donald J. Smurch (âa national hero of insufficient intelligence, background, and characterâ), I find myself wondering if anyone in those final, desperate months of the Obama administration seriously considered defenestration.
Oh but Dave, Youâand I --set ourselves up by not leaving a postit note on the phone or monitor. In related news, I turned on CSpan this morning and the Republicans were representing their constituents. And yet tomorrow we STILL wonât be able to believe what we read. Like we couldnât yesterday.
