I used to punctuate for a living and have contributed to journals about editing so I’m going to simply make it clear that when I say I think certain children should be killed and eaten, that’s what I mean. I don’t see how matters are ever going to improve if people can’t pay attention to one another, if they won’t hear what the other person is really saying, to be honest.

I understand how a thing can be misunderstood when you take it out of context. I think we should kill and eat children, but for goodness’ sake not all children, indiscriminately. I mean neglected children, orphans and so forth, who can’t possibly be enjoying their lives very much. And not overly skinny or fat ones, just the ones that would be well-marbled fleshwise. So to just get excited and say I want to kill and eat children without any qualification is really a mischaracterization of what I’m proposing.

I understand what you’re saying. It sounds like a modest proposal.
