I have to think that as brazen and shameless as he obvious is, McConnell isn’t stupid and knows that past a certain point he won’t be able to get the rowboat to shore and has to go over the waterfall with all the other bitter-enders. He has to know time is running out.

Since Deutsche Bank is the only mainstream financial institution in the U.S. to loan the Trump family money anymore, and since the bank has been caught money laundering so often it’s sometimes referred to as "The Global Laundromat," the bank’s come under heavy scrutiny as Democrats seek to dig into Trump’s business dealings.

The key thing about the Roy Cohn strategy is that so much of it depends on managed (mis) information (to the rubes) on a constant basis…the braying, the lies, the assumption of winning and (most important) the imparting of the feeling to supporters that are on a winning, unstoppable avalanche of brute force.
Otherwise, why else would some MAGAs try to abuse homeless women and children recently in Grand Rapids?
What if, however, the news did not contain the majority of stories dealing with the (mis) information coming FROM Trump, but, rather ABOUT Trump?

We have not had that phenomenon since Trump rode down that escalator. This why, even with THIS story, there will be a temptation of boo-birds to tamp down on it. Some of that could be prudence. Some of that could be trollish.
But the fact remains that we would be well served by focusing on getting stuff out there and cheering it on.

If that’s an argument that Trump is invulnerable now I have to disagree. There are perfectly unencumbered prosecutors circling his world like great whites, and he’s bleeding. Watch his own behavior and emotions if you think he’s invulnerable. He doesn’t agree with you either.

It would be a very good thing if they all go down with the ship as long as we take the Presidency and the Senate in 2020. They’ve all been in it so deeply now I don’t see how they could do anything but go down with the ship unless they wanted to publicly confess to being stupid in hope of being reelected.
