Look, this is the same guy who ran a commercial here in Florida where he was serenading his infant child with āBuild! The! Wall!ā You think heās ashamed of this? To him, itās a selling point.
I mean, look at this!
Undoubtedly there are a few million people in this country that feel a few good lynchings and a pogrom or two would fix a lot of our problems.
Itās the GOP wayā¦
Ten or fifteen years ago, Iād have rolled my eyes at that over the top snark. Now, not only do I not roll my eyes, I donāt think itās snarky at all.
Anyone who is surprised that DeSantis is a stone cold racist has not been paying attention.
Trump would GLADLY nuke another country, kill millions, and start WWIII if he was convinced doing it would salvage the midterms, re-elect him in 2020 and somehow result in the permanent shut down of the Mueller/SDNY/NY-AG investigations.
Donald Trump asked a foreign policy expert advising him why the U.S. can't use nuclear weapons, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said on the air Wednesday, citing an unnamed source who claimed he had spoken with the GOP presidential nominee.
"Several months ago, a foreign policy expert on the international level went to advise Donald Trump. And three times [Trump] asked about the use of nuclear weapons. Three times he asked at one point if we had them why can't we use them," Scarborough said on his "Morning Joe" program.

ā¦and yet they blame the Dems for making this a āthingā. The brazen BS from these White Nationalists ought to scare the sht out of Floridiansā¦and anyone else thinking āit canāt happen HEREāā¦
DeSantis is the representative for what I call the swamp people. Not informed, for the most part, racist to their core and damn proud of it. I am hoping that Gillum wins but it is going to be nastyš”
Hey these guys may not agree with all these groups propose, they just want votes and are willing to speak to them and are willing to ignore that their cause sucks.
A few million - thatās it?
Not sure this differentiates him from most others in the GOP.
Shouldnāt that be more of a āsix degrees of Richard Spencerā notion? (Not that weād need that many when it comes to Ron DeSantis.)
Horowitz transitioned from leftist (when it suited him to be so) to self-proclaimed āconservativeā to neocon and now to a bigot, racist and perhaps full blown supporter of white supremacy.
As far as Iām concerned, he is an intellectual fraud not worthy of the attention he gets. It all seems to stem from problems he had reconciling his relationship with his Communist parents.
Not sure if this was intentional on the part of TPM, but I feel like the accompanying photo could be considered tongue-in-cheek, because basically, you first see the headline, āDeSantis Spoke Repeatedly At Event Featuring Speakers With Racist, Sexist Views,ā and then youāre all like, āWhat? You mean CPAC?ā
Itās quite unfair to attack DeSantis for this, Why, he hasnāt spoken (or as he might put it monkeyed around) at this racist gathering since last year, when he was obviously young and foolish. His views have matured since then
And that, my friends, is the crux of our current malaise.
David Horowitz and his so-called Freedom Center have always strayed into bizarre conspiracy theories. They claim that there is some vast cabal (Soros!) aka ādiscover the networkā that has a vast hold on American society.
DeSantis showing up at their gatherings is no different than Trump praising Alex Jones āamazing reputation!ā.
He has resigned from Congress effective immediately. The supposed reason is something something not right to accept his Federal salary while campaigning for Governor of Florida. Uh huh.
Is this true? I saw the Breaking News headline but have found no actual reportageā¦
