Discussion: Deputy Shot At Georgia County Courthouse, Suspect Dead

Who’s been spreading the idea you should arm yourself and attack the government? The Tea Party/GOP/NRA.

He was just standin’ his groun against a jack-booted thug! Clearly Marx was the aggrieved party.

Could have been an accident. Isn’t that the default assumption when a bullet leaves a gun and enters a person?

What an incompetent idiot.

Save your keystrokes, JG. For Libs, every incident in life, including and especially gun incidents, are a kind of Rorschach blot in which he can see some derpy reason that guns aren’t a problem.

No need for your concern, they didn’t harm the gun.

“There should be no further danger to the public,” Piper said in a release, as quoted by WXIA.

As long as Georgia doesn’t much care who owns a gun and as long as anyone can take his gun anywhere, there is considerable danger to the public.

If this had been Texas, he would have been allowed to walk into the courthouse with all his gear, and until he fired the first shot, there was nothing anyone would be able to do about it. Remember, as the NRA says, the purpose of a gun is to kill politicians who you disagree with.

The law says that if a cop wants to shoot you, you are not allowed to defend yourself. Your only recourse is to happily go to your death.

Ohmygod. Must be the marijuana.

This article does not say whether Marx shot himself, was shot in return by the wounded deputy, was shot by another deputy, or was shot by a bystanding “good guy with a gun”! This piece of information might be deemed important by some readers.

Very obliging of Marx to present himself for execution and to provide the deputy with such a stellar excuse.

“There should be no further danger to the public,”

except from the tens of millions of other heavily armed patriotic lunatics running around exercising their 2nd Amendment rights.

Nobody’s heard that Christ is the peacemaker so churches can “opt in” to allow guns

I would agree with you except for two things: (1) the man’s name was “Marx”; (2) he might have had a beard (Fox is investigating.)

Sovereign Citizen” … aka tea party ‘patriot’.
With patriots such as these, who needs anarchists and seditionists.

Obviously he just attacked because he sensed weakness. Why can’t we just arm deputies? Oh, wait… never mind.

One gunsuck loser taken out. Works for me.

Since guns are allowed in courthouses now, why did the cop shoot the patriot excersising his rights? He didn’t even get a chance to get out of his car.
