My dad used to wear one of those curly sheep’s wool persian hats when he was alive. Its called a karakul in pashto and a papakha in the Caucasus. I thought it looked goofy on him. I got it when he died. Doesn’t fit my head and yet…I can’t seem to give it away.

Would be nice if the repubs finally acknowledged that Flynn is a traitorous, lying asshole who is the closest thing to a paid foreign agent that we have on the White House staff (next, of course, to Trump himself). Nobody creeps me out more than this POS when it comes to national security. Get rid of this delusional clown, now! He is a threat to the United States.

This Flynn story may be the easiest way to get deep into the Trump-Russia connection and election interference/influence investigation. Please - media, democrats, House oversight committee, government ethics office, CIA, FBI, etc. - go after this. Do not let it die at the end of the news cycle or with the next Trump outrage or the next 50 presidential tweets. I didn’t grow up on a farm, but I realize it’s difficult to grab hold of a greased pig, especially when there are 100 more pigs in the pen trying to get your attention. However, this is a pig that must be grabbed, held onto, controlled, examined, and dissected.

I just read yesterday that the CIA still has an active investigation into Russian interference but since nobody has heard anything for quite awhile it’s apparent that the CIA isn’t leaking.

Should Flynn serve? On the National Security Council?
I’ve had massive cognitive dissonance about how he has gotten away with it since it became clear that this guy was a compensated and compliant commentator for Russia Today, the propaganda station with the goal of undermining western democracies. Think about it: he was literally an agent of the Russian government. And then he’s in charge of national security???
Now it turns out he had secret discussions with Russian officials that sought to promote the interests of Russia at the expense of the interests of the US President. And you can be 100% sure that he has disclosed US national security information to the Russians and basically facilitated the Russian interference with the US election on the basis of some quid pro quo. He is a traitor and spy. Why isn’t he under arrest? And who are his collaborators?
