Discussion: Demonstrators Block Terminal, Traffic At Minneapolis Airport After Mall Protest

BLM is now revealed to be the collection of total assholes and morons that they have always been. If I had been at the mall in charge of security, tasers would have been widely deployed.

If I had been delayed at the airport, there would have been hell to pay.The tactic of blocking highways is moronic. The drivers in cars did not kill the guy.

Some people had themselves imposed upon! So what? Who died? You mean because some people took it upon themselves to get in a position to be imposed upon there is cause for weeping, wailing and the general gnashing of teeth? Oh well. Maybe it should be just another reason to add to the list of reasons that flights get missed.

You mean “Oh, those people who missed their flights and had to cancel all of their appointments and meetings and stuff are irrelevant. My ability to fuck with people is far more important than their irrelevant lives, which are less important because ONLY Black Lives matter”. And actually, that attitude is fucking arrogant. I’m sure you’re not fucking arrogant, but I could be wrong.

For me, I will now do whatever I can to fuck over BLM. They are total idiots. What they have done is a huge favor to Trump. Every airport passenger they delay will now be more likely to vote for Trump. Since you are clearly about 19, and still sucking milk from Mom’s paps, you don’t know that Nixon won in 1968 by talking about civil disorder. That phrase will be resurrected. And if Trump wins, BLM will have a little bit of credit for that.

Fuck the BLM morons.

Oh deary me. Pears someone feels a tad imposed upon. Walk it off. You’ll be fine. Besides, you’ve every right to feel imposed upon while BLM continues to have the right to impose. It’s just the way it is.

Trust me, today in Minneapolis-St Paul, there are now thousands of new voters who will vote for Trump or Cruz or whatever, and will do anything to hurt BLM. Me, I can hardly wait. This is the sowing of the dragons’ teeth. That’s a bit of Greek mythology of which I am sure you are unaware.

Count me in as part of the problem. BLM has screwed the pooch. I’m happy when things happen that are not good for them.

Um, yeah, no. They don’t “hear you.” In fact, got some bad news for you – even if they hadn’t heard you before and might have been open to your message, now they pretty much just hate you – not because you’re black, but because you’re assholes. And, frankly, I can’t blame them.

Naturally.

But, in doing so, the disruptor deflects from her point. Effective protests serve to highlight the injustice being protested.

As to whether your

recruit more supporters, or more opponents.

that is not precisely the aim of the protests. In America today I presume the majority of the people object to the gunning down of people of whatever race not involved in threatening other people’s lives and recognize that such gunning down is more frequently applied to blacks. So in that sense, BLM already has the support of the majority of the country. But that support is such weak tea that it has not yet lead to actions which would solve the problem. ( Firing police with a long history of violence, annual lead testing to for cops, stricter rules of engagement. etc.)

So the thought is that this majority – and even some opponents – will be far more likely to make the effort to correct this problem if their own holidays are disrupted than if they simply see reports about a great injustice on TV.

It’s this kind of stuff that could turn Minn over to the Rs in 2016. A real victory for civil rights.

Read TaNahesi Coates On his discovery of PG’s treatment of young black men. It’s power, and fear, not color.

Do I wanna bet what? That you know better than I do what I think?
I don’t doubt Malcolm said that. But it’s not original to him. That simple concept has been around for millenia.
Now, does causing problems for your supporters constitute being part of the solution? I doubt it.
