All this on top of which are signs he’s physically failing, including maybe a neurological disorder he tries to disguise by hugging his chest at Cabinet meetings and using both hands to hold a glass or bottle of water.
You’ve answered your own question. Who is there to take her place and raise all the money she does at the drop of a hat because San Francisco is full of rich liberals and who else has the smarts to organize the Democratic caucus, count heads before a vote to guarantee it’ll pass and everything else a seasoned leader does. What evidence do you have that she personally has cost seats elsewhere because of her old aginess Your talking points are worn out, unoriginal, repetitious and counterproductive.
A fatuous twaddle who also makes very little sense.
When is the time to move on when it comes to Nancy Pelosi? Never.
Great idea! Let’s not just kick her off the island. Let’s replace her with somebody!
300 days, give or take.
Too old myself to say never, but she’s earned the right to say when it suits her.
Pelos said she would retire when Clinton won. She stayed because she feels she must, so people have to know she wants to be gone as much as a few want her to be gone… She will always be reelected (she is my critter so I say this with confidence) and the House will always retain her as Leader for all the reasons we’re talking about.
Oh, yeah, that 2016 election. The one where there were no voter-ID laws and other voter-suppression efforts aimed at Democratic voters. The one where the media stopped drooling over the ratings it got for covering every Trumpp event it could, and instead got serious about vetting the candidate for the benefit of voters. The one where “email” was just something that made our kids roll their eyes when they saw us using it. The one where people who did nothing but lie were screened out by news producers. The one where there wasn’t a deliberate effort, bolstered by stolen emails, to create divisions in the Democratic electorate. The one were Russian-operated fake GOP websites didn’t get far more readers than official GOP websites. The one where the Director of the FBI didn’t make a big announcement, just days before an election, that a closed investigation was being reopened to look at a hard drive that might have some new and incriminating emails after coming up with no incriminating emails in the tens of thousands it had looked at on government and private servers. The one where the Director of the FBI claimed he felt obligated to make the announcement, because he was afraid that other FBI agents would leak the news that there was a computer that might have incriminating emails. Etc.
Yeah, I can’t believe the Dems lost that one.
You do know that the tax plan will be giving a very large majority of taxpayers a tax cut in 2018, right?
It depends. Since this tax “cut” is far lesser than the one Obama gave as part of the stimulus (and 40% of people believe their taxes went up) it will be particularly amusing to see people scrutinizing their paychecks to see where it is. Besides, every financial scam needs testimonials from people to make them think it’s legit.
Of course, the MediaWhores will be interviewing only a subset of actual adults who will see that extra $10 as the Greatest Thing in the World as though they’re the majority. I would say, “mark my words, the MW are going to do their best to sell this payday loan as ‘working’” but I suspect you probably already know that.
