KKKobach must have said some damning stuff in e mails about the mission of the voter suppression commission to stop “the wrong sort” from voting.
When I first heard that a democrat was going to participate in this charade of a commission, I was disappointed and angry. Why put a ‘bi-partisan’ sheen on what inevitably will be an attempt to federally mandate voter suppression? But now I’m glad he is on the commission and has standing to sue the treasonous bastards.
They also promised that the commission would “not punish, retaliate, or terminate Secretary Dunlap as a Commission member for asserting his rights under FACA.”
That’s certainly a threat.
As they say at the beginning of each NPR pledge drive where they say they’ll be able to avoid interrupting your summer with the pledge drive if you give now, “nice summer you’re having, shame if anything were to ruin it…” Well, maybe they don’t actually say that, but that’s what they mean.
I’m glad that we are getting good reporting done alongside all the Franken Shiny Objects being flashed across the media. Stay on target, folks.
These are the seemingly small moves by those with a moral compass that blow the lid off of corrupt practices.
I am hoping for a collective ‘Alexander Butterfield’ moment on this whole damn group of criminals.
I was listening that day and will never forget it.
Same here. I was wet noodled by the crowd, but they were right.
Contrary to my initial expectations, Dunlap is by all means Not sucking up, and is essentially destroying the fake commision from within.
As has been clear from the beginning, this “commission” is a complete sham designed to come up with totally contrived justifications to limit voting rights of certain selected voter groups such African-Americans, Hispanics, Muslims, other non-white citizens, and, oh yes, all Democrats. The “commission” is a complete and total FRAUD!
At some point the information in question will come out and those DoJ lawyers will be in an interesting position.
Make no mistake, this is a chance for Kobach to use that error-ridden system of his nationally. The funny part, Indiana’s SoS is on the commission, and Indiana uses additional systems and data to filter out the mistakes from Kobach’s broken toy of a system.
