Congressman Moulton is confused. It would be the definition of treason if a Democratic President were to do this. But the current President is a Republican, so this is not a scandal. Not at all.
Thereâs a world of difference between the two, see?
Thatâs certainly how the Republicans in Congress are going to look at it.
Youâre right, itâs Obamaâs fault
Oh Donnie Dearest Leader. The reason for the treasonâŚ

Jon Stewart, Come Home. Hard work to be done to deflate the orange hot air buffoon.
Stephen Colbertâs anti-Trump experiment is starting to work with viewers
No kidding. In my red area, Facebook is full of this:
I like how the Dems are rolling out different names and different faces with their talking points. It would be much easier for the rightish to dismiss Schumer or Pelosi. Keep it up guys!
Now youâre talking my language!
Flynn resigned. Problem solved. Time to move on (as quickly as fucking possible!).
âWill not be questioned? Let me test that theory,â Colbert said. âWhat the fâ are you talking about?â
Stewart was great, but this was a beautiful moment.
âI donât think that anything in Washington happens alone,â Moulton said.
Nor do I.
In this case itâs a confederacy of dunces, thank dog.
Yes. I noticed that too. And part of the reason why isâŚthe usual GOP suspects donât want to be interviewed about this. Which leaves the media with lots of time slots to fill, and I am glad to see Dems being only too willing to fill them.
Our lawyer friends here say âtreasonâ has a specific meaning in the law and properly refers to aid to an enemy youâre at war with. So letâs just say itâs the definition of âhigh crimes and misdemeanorsâ and let it go at that.
Damn Strait. T-R-E-A-S-O-N. Look it up, Blitzer.
I donât think anything in Washington happens alone.
Damn Straight!
Yeah heâs winning the time slot and he has been awesome.
âThe definition of treason is putting the interests of our enemy ahead of our own.â
For the win!
(And letâs be clear: Any time the GOP is denying âtreasonâ on a legal technicality â theyâre losing.)
Whether or not Rep. Moulton is on-track with this suspicion, the relationships between a number of Administration members, including POTUS and VPOTUS, and Russia, need to be seriously examined. If nothing else there seems to be too much of a âwarm & fuzzyâ consideration of Putin and his gang that at best opens the door to Russian mischief. At worst, and we may already be seeing evidence of collusion that is interfering with our electoral process, with our treaty relationships, and with our national security. If so, then there may well be treasonous activities in play. Due diligence calls for a thorough investigation of what is going on.
Hey, at least Rand Paul is being honest.
âI just donât think itâs useful to be doing investigation after investigation, particularly of your own party,â Paul said.
