Trump Violating Law…

When has that mattered

Another sternly written letter.

Bend a law here, break a law there. When you’re a celebrity Republicans let you do it.

We know this all ends with him shooting someone in the face on 5th Avenue, right?

Another example of the administration’s “agile development” philosophy. Move fast-break things.

Create a “new reality”… A new normal… For the dems to study.

Oh, what a day, when Federal workers start being fired by the President not because of what they do, but because they stand in the way of his preferred choice…

If he fires Grady to do this, that will have a lot of high-ranking people out there planning exit strategies.

It would actually be kinda nice if he ignored this for a while. That would be a simple reason for courts to invalidate all the new evil policies without even getting to the “because they’re disgusting and evil” part.

And Brother George is awake and singing the praises of scorched earth and impeachment. The only tool in his kit.

Hey, Dick Cheney got away with it (he shot a Lawyer in the face with a shotgun because he was DRUNK. No charges filed, no complaint filed by the guy who got shot, nothing happened to Cheney.) Why not Trump?

Probably can’t do anything untill he illegally installs the wrong person.

Oh those pesky laws.
He never bothered with them as a citizen, why should he have to bother with them now?

Claire Grady …will she willingly step up and depart the scene? Or will she have the courage to make it a showdown?

… or does this become a big nothing because this is a position where Trump can fire at will?

I’m just going to go out on a limb here and be fair to the Trump administration.

This letter is probably the first they’ve every heard of any laws about succession rules.

With their levels of incompetence, that’s really the most likely explanation.

Oh please Trump actually doing something with his own hand is not going to happen, getting someone else to do it for him is a sure bet.

So? LOCK him UP!

This is the same incompetence excuse or indeed reality that brings us Trump as stooge of Russian manipulation

Make Grady the acting Director, leave the position she vacates open, then suspend her for some obscure, bullshit reason, and elevate Kevin McAleenan. Eezy-peezy.

“I strongly urge you to follow the law in this matter and to nominate a suitable candidate for Secretary as expeditiously as possible.”

Per Politico, Trump may have no recourse but to fire Grady to clear the path for Kevin McAleenan, his preferred candidate.

Has it yet dawned on Republicans that they’re systematically enabling and supporting complete anarchy and chaos in the White House? Will their indifference MAGA?

The strong majority of American citizens would disagree with them if that is, indeed, what they believe.

Somewhat OT but never completely. At this point, I’m for pre-impeachment proceedings. Let them screech. They’re already screeching and we haven’t seen a word of the report, and in this case, all Pelosi has to do is say, turn over the report - that’s it. I’m coming around to you, georgeh.
