The day started off sour with NickDanger giving “TPM Resident Troll” a bad name. I think he got set off by the thought that any female immigrant or female birthright citizen born to non-citizens was another person that could grow up to accuse him of sexual harassment for totally innocent unwanted expressions of affection to a subordinate in the workplace. Or maybe his cat peed in his shoe again. Whatever.

If proper investigations and process are allowed to actually operate, I think you may be dead on. So losing ground for them is a distinct threat. We know there is enough just that the public can view, if allowed to be presented would create serious questions. Also make many of the diehards run away, disavowing they ever had anything to do with them. Weenies.

This could become truly Machiavellian. If there’s any substance to these claims, Mueller is discredited and the heat is off Trump. On the other hand, if the claims are discredited it gives people accused of similar misdeeds an example of how easily such claims can be manufactured. Think Kavanaugh. Either way, a victory for Trump supporters and Kavanaugh supporters. This could be a very bad turn of events…a true swamp. We

It is also very Trump. We know, for example that many in the crowd of the Trump Tower lobby when Trump descended the escalator to announce his candidacy were paid actors hired by the Trump campaign. I suspect that many at his rallies may be the same, meaning shills to start applause, cheers, chants, etc.
Remember that Manafort has been charged with jury tampering. and I have no doubt that Trump or Stone or even Trump’s sons would stoop to something like this.

In a statement, Surefire Intelligence tweeted that it “does not comment on current, past or future operations, nor the lack thereof."
Wohl declined to comment on his involvement with Surefire Intelligence. However, his email is listed in the domain records for Surefire Intelligence’s website and calls to a number listed on the Surefire Intelligence website went to a voicemail message which provided another phone number, listed in public records as belonging to Wohl’s mother.
Wohl stopped responding to NBC News after being told Surefire’s official phone number redirects to his mother’s voicemail.

BTW, her guests yesterday and today included Bari Weiss, a NYT staff editor who grew up in the Squirrel Hill area, and Sam Stein to talk about the massacre. They described their feelings so poignantly and their grief was so intense that I wanted to cry every time they spoke. So disappointed that we don’t have the kind of leadership to help heal the very deep wounds. Trump just isn’t capable of that or much else that we look for in a President (and in fact fuels the flames even more).
Makes it even more tragic.
