The first and only response to something like this MUST BE, it was / is stupid and wrong. Period.

Wrong? yes - but does something like this (regardless of whether it is committed by a Democrat or a Republican) warrant being juxtaposed with the critical monumental events of world and national politics?
This is a contest for the the Delaware House of Representatives - the lower house of the Delaware General Assembly; the state legislature of the state of Delaware. This is not just “minor league baseball” - it is almost instructional league - and stupid things get done on all sides … and this instance is like the cases of one candidate destroying another’s lawn signs … people do dumb stuff - good people and bad people … this was a dumb move …
He should double down. “The pamphlet is full of lies. It’s junk mail. Delaware voters are entitled to the facts, not propaganda. I wish I had done this more often.”
This is worse than dumb. Democrats aren’t supposed to pull this [stuff]. In a world where Beto O’Rourke gets the both-siders all in a tizzy for calling Cruz a liar, we don’t need to hand them more ammunition wrapped in a pretty package, tied in a pretty bow, and handed on a silver platter.
Look, I’m sure that many of the houses she visited appreciated her clearing out some advertising flyers, wishes she had taken more of them, and preferred she not leave her own. She committed a minor moral crime against her opponent but a major stupidity against the Democratic brand. To quote Obama: Don’t do stupid [stuff].
Cruz is a liar… Call him out…
This is just embarrassing for all concerned. I like to think of my party as being the party of the good guys and gals but being a good gal means doing the right thing.
I wasn’t trying to suggest otherwise. Calling Cruz a liar is like calling the Universe bigger than a breadbox. Calling him a liar is like saying the Sun rises in the East.
The both-siders will latch onto any false equivalency they can find. If they can’t find any, they’ll make it up. We can’t stop that. But we shouldn’t provide them with stupid gifts. That’s what Monique Johns (and not Beto O’Rourke) did.
