When all is said and done I hope Trump and his family won’t be able to afford a room at Motel 6.

Keep digging.
The more you dig and the deeper you go, the rewards will be endless for the country…

Hang onto your MAGA hat Donnie, your fun is starting now. Hopefully you won’t be able to keep all the lawsuits against you straight. I know I won’t be able to and that is great.

“The president is engaging in very serious constitutional violations every day

Imagine any other pres being spoken about like this.

It blows my mind.

On this day, when George HW Bush is headed to the Capital Rotunda to lie in state, we can reflect upon a man who I often disagreed with politically, but never doubted his devotion to his country. Contrast that with the Grifter in Chief. The contrasts are astounding. And shameful, for all that voted for the orange imp of a man. Follow the money fellah’s… that’s where the dirt is. And let the laws set things to rights.

I am a Marylander and Attorney General Brian Frosh is really impressive. He is a more parochial version of Mueller. He looks like Clyde CrashCup (dating myself here) but his brain is a slicing blade that should strike fear in anyone in his path. He has, and continues to, serve this small state well.

I so agree with you. I disagreed with so many of Bush’s policies, but never thought he was a “bad” person. Trump, on the other hand is not just a bad person, but truly a horrible one in every sense of the word. Total POS.

Darling, just wait until January. The House dems will not only have everyone’s attention, but Mueller’s investigation and indictments will be amazing to behold.

Also, Comey lawyer is on with Melber. He just pointed out that thr House republicans (Gowdy mentioned by name) wasted years and taxpayer dollars to investigate Hillary and came up with …

NOTHING.

Mueller, otoh, has lots of indictments already in a very short period of time.

Probably as succinct a summary as we’re going to get. And this part is the legal obstruction, aka stalling. Imagine what Trump will try when that fails…

Sunlight is the best disinfectant

Oh no! I just googled him, and though his appearance is very grandfatherly, he looks disturbingly like a professional in my field who was my arch-nemesis years ago (the only person I’ve ever felt that way about). I really like what he’s doing here, but perhaps he can give press conferences backwards like Sia so I don’t have these conflicting feelings.

I raised an eyebrow at that—he had to know the term would resonate. Heh.

I love it; like a typical bully, our president* is all threats and no action. I hope they nail him for this, just for starters. He’s not just a crook, he’s a cheap crook.

He is a really good person. I hope that helps. We love him here in the Free State.

I would so enjoy this ever so slow roasting of Trump over an open spit, if I didn’t understand our country is roasting right along with him. I’ll never forgive the Republicans for this.

This isn’t the Trump party.

This is the Koch brothers’ party. They’ve paid plenty to buy the current crop of congressional republicans.

I guess this is as good an explanation as anything. From Wiki:

Koch was the Libertarian Party’s vice-presidential candidate in the 1980 presidential election,[12] sharing the party ticket with presidential candidate Ed Clark. The Clark–Koch ticket promised to abolish Social Security, the Federal Reserve Board, welfare, minimum-wage laws, corporate taxes, all price supports and subsidies for agriculture and business, and U.S. Federal agencies including the SEC, EPA, ICC, FTC, OSHA, FBI, CIA, and DOE.[1][13] The ticket received 921,128 votes, 1% of the total nationwide vote,[14] the Libertarian Party national ticket’s best showing until 2016 in terms of percentage and its best showing in terms of raw votes until the 2012 presidential election, although that number was surpassed again in 2016.[15][16] “Compared to what [the Libertarians had] gotten before,” Charles said, “and where we were as a movement or as a political/ideological point of view, that was pretty remarkable, to get 1 percent of the vote.”[17]

After the bid, according to journalist Brian Doherty’s Radicals for Capitalism, Koch viewed politicians as “actors playing out a script”.[1][18]

Koch credits the campaign of Roger MacBride as his inspiration for getting involved in politics:

Here was a great guy, advocating all the things I believed in. He wanted less government and taxes, and was talking about repealing all these victimless crime laws that accumulated on the books. I have friends who smoke pot. I know many homosexuals. It's ridiculous to treat them as criminals—and here was someone running for president, saying just that.[13]

Koch gave his own Vice Presidential campaign $100,000 a month after being chosen as Ed Clark’s running mate. “We’d like to abolish the Federal Elections Commission and all the limits on campaign spending anyway,” Koch said in 1980. When asked why he ran, he replied: “Lord knows I didn’t need a job, but I believe in what the Libertarians are saying. I suppose if they hadn’t come along, I could have been a big Republican from Wichita. But hell—everybody from Kansas is a Republican.”[13]

In 1984 he broke with the Libertarian Party when it supported eliminating all taxes. Since then, Koch has been a Republican.[2]:4

Bernie Sanders is an independent. I contend that it’s the same crap, different party.

Separately, German authorities have raided Deutsche Bank. This is was the bank that Justin Kennedy used to launder money that the Russians and Saudis funneled to the Trump family in exchange for access to the White House.
