Discussion: David Duke Records Robocall Urging Voters To Back Both Him And Trump (AUDIO)

Ahh. The good old days. Back when being outed as a racist, white-supremest pig meant you retired from politics. What was that? Two years ago?

We’re losing our gun rights, our free speech. We’re taxed to death.

The wackos have a truly astonishing ability to continue to believe things that are factually, demonstrably untrue, year after year after year.

Not for Duke and Louisiana. He ran for Governor and nearly won. Edwin Edwards even had to call on people to vote for him, even if he had a reputation for crookedness.

is David Dukes what happens when you misread your 2012 election autopsy and your minority white outreach program goes sideways?

The safest route today for getting in the good graces of a RNC screening committee is just being dumb as wood. To wit: Louie Gohmert. Hamsters beat him at Scrabble.

Yeah the classic line was along the lines of the guy’s “I am not gay, but why do these homosexuals keep sucking my c__k?”

He looks like he is standing in front of them for an inspection.

You know, maybe it is my age showing, but I REMEMBER George Wallace campaigning on a flat-out RACIST platform of “Segregation Now, Segregation FOREVER!” and getting 14% of the National Vote and winning FIVE States. Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. The “Law and Order” campaign of Nixon targeting the DixieCrats and their rejection of the 1965 Voting Rights Act was very, very successful and but for Wallace he would have won in a landslide as he did in 1972 rather than ekking out a victory over Hubert H. Humphrey, the sitting Vice President at the time.
That was in 1968.
Since then the scab of Racism has been consistently whittled away by the Republicans and finally, this year, has been torn completely off by Trump and is now festering again.
I fully expect David Duke to be a force in Louisiana, and he could well win election to the Senate (if he gets on the Ballot as a Republican) where Republicans will privately grouse about him, but embrace him as “a WINNER.”
We face dark times my friends and only by CRUSHING TRUMP can we force this demon of blatant racism back under it’s rock for another generation.
GOTV for all Democrats, everywhere (yes, even the DINO’s.) It’s that important.
If you don’t, and Trump somehow wins, we will become 1932 Wiemar Germany with all that implies, anxiously awaiting the new “Nuremberg Laws” from our Dear Leader Trump and his minions.

Wow. Three evils in one sentence: “David Duke” “Trump” and “Robocall”. Bad day.

The key being “nearly.” I would not be at all surprised come November, if my neighbors to the east are represented (in the Senate no less – good gawd, y’all!) by Duke. Frightening.

Gohmert has so little brain activity that if he was admitted to the hospital (alert and awake), the transplant doctors would want to take him off life support, thinking him braindead.

““Mr. Trump has continued to denounce David Duke and any group or individual associated with a message of hate,” the campaign said in the statement.” But he would vote for Duke, if he could. It’s really astonishing, how many rats have crawled out of their holes. Thanks, Donnie, heckuva job! His bigotry and ignorant followers is only one of the bad things about Hillary’s Opponent; much more important, to my mind, is his complete lack of qualifications or temperament to perform the job. I will continue to hope that he gets the defeat of a lifetime in November; no other possibility is within my contemplation. I am investigating the possibility of moving to Canada, and I love this country.
