Discussion: David Axelrod: Biden Super PAC Ad Is 'Tasteless'

You’re probably up to speed by now, but if not there’s this from CNN. It notes that Bernie and Warren oppose it as well.

President Obama used to know those two well. And your point is?

Thank you.

I totally agree with Axelrod on this.

I volunteer to produce the advertisements for the “American Snot Eaters for Cruz PAC” and the “Auto-Erotic Asphyxiators for Rubio PAC”

You left out the “Nudist Aqua Buddhas for Rand” PAC.

I hate it when I agree with David Axelrod.

The man who helped engineer the campaign

Only one helped? Really?

Do you ever see shades of gray? And by how far can he be one of the most?

Axelrod is giving “the big signal” for Joe not to run. He obviously doesn’t think Joe can win either the nomination, or the general or both. I think he’s right.

Oh, please.

This PAC had better get a day job. Do we need a Griever-in-Chief? I don’t understand why Biden is letting this happen even if there is a “wall” between him and the “superpac”? OTOH: given our death toll on the gun front???

so what you are saying is that he can’t coordinate with a super pac but should secretly get word to them? or tell someone else to tell them what he thinks? seems like super pac rules don’t carry much weight. just like the scotus 5 intended.

Joe directly or otherwise was responsible for disseminating the death bed conversation to Dowd. In the same manner a trusted surrogate could communicate with the PAC. But you’re right in the sense that a candidate or presumptive candidate is supposed to be distanced from the actions of a PAC. As SCOTUS wished would happen.
