Discussion for article #230650
Let the martyrdom begin.
This article fails to mention how much money this prick has already amassed for killing Michael Brown, much of it for attorney fees that have, as of yet, been entirely non-existent. Now that Wilson is a millionaire, he can be a man of leisure. I have no doubt Darren Wilson believes that killing that big n*gger was the best move he ever made. Which is clearly why he said heâd happily do it again. (Of course, some of his loot will have to be used for facial reconstruction surgery to repair the damage that Wilson described as one punch away from killing him.)
âFerguson officials planned to address the resignation of a white police officer who fatally shot 18-year-old Michael Brown, a black resident of the St. Louis suburb whose parents on Sunday prepared to attend a church service where civil rights activist the Rev. Al Sharpton was scheduled to preach.â
Does anyone else feels this sentence is a bit too verbose?
And still the right will contend that poor old Darren is being persecuted beyond belief.
From CNN:
âHe said it was the hardest thing he ever had to doâ.
Wilson was referring to resigning not killing young Mr Brown.
He must have no conscience at all.
(head-in-hands)
" âWe were not after Wilsonâs job,â Sharpton, who planned to preach Sunday at the St. Louis church where Brownâs funeral was held, added later in a written statement. âWe were after Michael Brownâs justice.â "
If you are after Michael Brownâs justice, why arenât you and your lawyer-friends filing papers to have this case brought before another grand jury given the obvious flaws and bias in this one? The protestations of people like Bryan Fischer aside, there is NO double jeopardy, because there was never any jeopardy - there was no trial. Why doesnât Sharpton ever mention this? Not once!
If you are after Michael Brownâs justice, Reverend, why didnât you petition the court to order the Governor to appoint a special prosecutor in the first place when you knew (or should have known if you were doing your job) that McCullough was on the board of directors for Backstoppers, a police advocacy organization that made money selling Darren Wilson T-shirts?
If you are after Michael Brownâs justice, why the headlong rush to seek civil damages? What does Reverend Sharpton have to gain by all that?
The Eric Garner case in NYC in which Sharpton is involved is yet another example. Watch and see what happens. Likewise, thereâll be no indictment, and no petition to present the case again, and a rush to civil court where Sharpton gets his payout. He and his crackerjack legal team wonât file so much as a goddamned index card in the name of justice that might impede the rush to the money.
Not that these families donât deserve money. They do. Lots of it. But Sharpton has done little â some say nothing â to earn a dime of that money, and heâll walk away from these cases with bundles of cash. Itâs pathetic.
At the recent news conference with the murder victim Garnerâs mother, Sharpton stood in back pouting sternly as if he was some sort of superhero seeking justice. By his actions and most importantly his inactions, heâs proven to be no such thing. Heâs far from being a stupid man; this is deliberate.
My exact reaction.
Resigning from the PD â hard.
Gunning down an unarmed teen â easy.
Financially profiting from the upcoming book deals and gigs as an âexpert commentatorâ for News Corp â priceless.
ââŚIâm not willing to let someone else get hurt because of meâŚâ
Tip: Get rid of the guns and youâre halfway there.
Sharpton can crawl back under his rock any time. He is the worst possible advocate we could have and has been totally unhelpful for 25 years
Darren Wilson Resigns From Ferguson Police Department
He ought resign from humanity.

Wilsonâs next job will either be as the Justice for teh Blahs commentator on Fox news or Police Outreach Coordinator for the NRA.
Itâd be a wonderful idea for the F.P.D to give him one of those armored vehicles as a going away present. Heâll likely have lots of use for it.
A secret management dictum was the SOP for Ferguson PD; Whatever you can get away with in court.
The notion that a non-indictment shows that Wilsonâs actions w/M_Brown were within FPD standards of conduct is a craven deflection of the âProtect and Serveâ motto LEOâs claim as their mandate. Accordingly the FPD standards of professional conduct are simply APPALLING. It is hard to believe that Darren Wilson could find work ANYWHERE as a Police Officer.
The Nation should breathe a sigh of relief that Darren Wilson will no longer be on the job !
Bingo, most black people I know canât stand Sharpton.
This is the dick who still thinks those guys who were totally innocent should be charged with raping Tawana Brawley. He has not only refused to apologize, but still wants rape charges when it was blatantly obvious she made the whole story up.
A woman opened a not for profit organization and got donations totally $500,000 so far for a potential defense fund. Not a penny of that belongs to Wilson. The woman claims she is now looking for ways she can donate the money. Frankly, I think SHE is the one making out, and someone should be checking out HER organization and see exactly what she âdonatesâ.
Donât believe everything you read on the internet. Somebody always âprofitsâ in ânot for profitsâ, and it is usually not the people that are supposed to benefit from them. Some benefits for 9/11 families were complete scams where the families got almost nothing, while the people running them made big bucks.
Not only that, they give him a TV show to boot. I guess he is MSNBCâs answer to Sean Hannity. Two guys who realize there is big money to be made in hate talk.
He;'s much more suited to be a greeter at Walmart than a gun-toting cop.
Or he could always get a job as a cop for Signal Hill, Ca. Should the urge to shot black people comes back again.
the murderous coward resigned because of the exposure of being a cop in Ferguson, and now is hoping somehow to become invisible. Ainât gonna happen, dead man walking comes to mind. I donât advocate that, but I donât advocate the injustice of the murder of Brown either.
Itâs a bunch easier to have a clean conscience (Wilson said his was clean) when you donât have one.
