I don’t know if this is an updated photo or an additional memorial. The personal stories about the slain police officers are emerging, and it’s heartbreaking.

i think he’s been going down the dark road for awhile. his house was loaded with weapons and bomb making shit. the two killings and the opportunity to get a bunch of cops in his sights,

At best,his opinions get played out on ‘Fox News Court’ (and those options are slightly numerous).
However (and for some strange reason),he was singled out in that release.
Dallas PD likely have squat, but it wouldn’t be surprising if they are hunting for radicalization.
And Griff is (or was) a Nation of Islam member

The Dallas Police Department had their moment back in 2012 when there was a police caused death. Fortunately, through good leadership, the police department saw the disaster this could be for race relations and took a number of positive steps to fix the systemic problem. Since then the DPD are a model for police community interactions. In fact, a number of the officers who were shot were there marching in the protest. The Dallas organizers of BLM were not protesting the DPD, they were protesting the national state of affairs. Everyone here knows it. But we as a city are hurting today. Everyone feels it.

Well, I’m sorry for your community today, BTS, but I’m glad you have that progress and trust going on. I know it’ll serve the city well in the days to come. I don’t know if I can do much to help, but you can tell people there you have online acquaintances who are sending their best wishes. And I’ll do this—I’ll keep telling people that it’s wrong to bash and stereotype Texans because one person there says or does something they don’t like. I’ve been there a couple of times, know a few folks there, have favorite writers and musicians from there, they aren’t all awful in Texas, any more than they’re all perfect in Connecticut. Just in that one picture alone of the woman laying down the flowers, although I’ve seen others, Dallas is showing us something we need to know about what a real community is. Good luck to everyone there. Oh, and one more thing: I had a talk with a neighbor I know is pretty conservative about the incident, and I mentioned how much mayhem a semi-auto rifle with high-cap mags can unleash. He agreed with me. “They’re only meant to do one thing,” he said. You do what you can, right? Take care.

It must have been in the 80’s, there was an incident with a kind of crazy black homeless person on skid row. The Dallas cop had gotten himself into a situation. The guy got the cop’s gun away from him, and was pointing it right at his head. A crowd gathered, egging the guy on to shoot the cop. The cop was on his knees pleading for his life. The guy shot the cop in the head, point blank. The article was called “trouble in big D”, and really went into detail about the problems in Dallas between cops and the black community at that time. It was in Time or Newsweek or something, cover story, but I can’t find it. Made quite an impression. I was thinking this time, it had to be Dallas.
@nickdanger here is some information that should relate to a certain post of your s from yesterday in which you accused the shooter to be a blm guy. You went after a poster over that point and i suggest you look them up and offer an apology.
