The perfect lodger, the perfect guest ā€¦ weā€™ve got a good million of these government-trained assassins (euphemistically named ā€œsoldiersā€) loose now in Amerikkka. Understand? Yeah, theyā€™re trained by the best genocidal maniacs (the brains of the armed forces) with the best weapons to mutilate the enemy - now you can be their enemy. And the number of trained assassins increases daily, in this nightmare country devoted to only war and planetary conquest - and I mean ā€œonlyā€.

Well, hopefully some of Clarence Thomas SCOTUS Mulligans will rectify our perversion of the Second Amendment.

Are police ever trained just to disable a shooter instead of blasting them till thereā€™s no hope they will survive? Shoot to kill and ask questions later.

If the suspect is packing a battle rifle and multiple magazines, just winging him is kinda tricky.

Trump is encouraging this exact sort of violence. Trumpā€™s advocacy for violence has emboldened the already fringe element and there will be more and more of these attacks. He hates the FBI, the CIA, Congress and anyone who might possibly investigate his crimes.

[/quote]Guns are used to kill people. If you donā€™t intend to kill what youā€™re aiming at, you shouldnā€™t be aiming a gun at it.

Of course he was.

Been happening with appalling regularity these days. Wouldnā€™t have anything to do with the lack of mental health help for vets returning from war zones, would it???

Please define ā€˜disableā€™

Iā€™m asking, because most of the time, these guys donā€™t wanna peacefully surrender.

Iā€™m really quite offended by that gun wielding Bob Ross meme. Not being sarcastic at all. Thatā€™s truely lowā€¦ to take the image of such a soft-spoken and gentle human and turn him into an icon of violence. Is this what these lowlifes are passing around online? (Rhetorical question, of courseā€¦)

So was he yet another crazy rightwing nut before he went into the military for weapons training, or was he radicalized by the far-right crazies who have infiltrated the military?

Maybe not, and Iā€™m not defending this guy but it would seem police might want to have a little chat with the shooter to find out what caused this. How about shot somewhere other then head or chest to get his attention.

When my ex attempted suicide some 30 years ago, the medical team told me that it wouldnā€™t have mattered what I said or did, he was gonna off himself.

I suspect the same here. Nothing was going to stop this.

Though this is a laymanā€™s analysis, these guys arenā€™t really into verbally talking.

The time to have reach/talk to them, is when memes such as the Bob Ross one creates an opportunity for that chat.

If what he was doing was considered freedom of speech, then it would take a lot to think that this was more than satire.

Since he was wearing body armor, it limits the Policeā€™s ability to incapacitate him before he can open fire.
