Discussion for article #240944
We really gotta start taxing the wealthy more in this country.
And while we’re at it, let’s get rid of the anti-trust exemptions for pro sports.
A fool and his money are soon parted.
There’s no fool like an old fool.
Et cetera, et cetera.
Christie has a better chance of replacing Tony Romo at QB than become the POTUS in 2016.
Seems like the hug Republican presidential candidate and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie gave to Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones after a football game in January paid off.
So this is what Christie meant when he said if he’s seen as more huggable, he’d win the election. Hugs don’t come cheap these days.
Really must be hard up for fundraisers. Jerry Jones is not exactly Mr. Popular with anyone.
One would think he’d have noticed that Romo breaking his collar bone and Bryant breaknig his foot were giant signs that Karma was onto him, but nooooooooooo…
“Jones’ fundraising event is closed to the public and tickets start at $1,000.”
How horrible a human being would I be to think Chris Christie has seen a lot of $1,000 dinner bills?
He’d better save his money for a new quarterback.
No way. You couldn’t possibly be horrible.
We’ll forgive you this time.
Awshucks Just your average American football team owner trying to help out your average American politician who’s never going to win another election within five hours of the Meadowlands. Or anywhere else for that matter.
Great!
More GOP millions right down the crapper!
Another reason to hate the Fing Dallas Cowboys!*
And every server in that room will have a hidden video camera on them…
I remember that other brilliant decision Jerry Jones made when he got rid of Jimmy Johnson. Genius! Genius, I say!
Nah, Christie’s a baseball kinda guy:

You can’t un-see that, you know.
Excellent news, and he should give lots of money to Jindal, Perry, Walker, Rand Paul, Gilmore, and lurchingly hurl some up for Upchuckabee for sure!
If the average fan knew how low a tax rate Jones other team owners paid they would not be pleased but would still root for the team since the pull of sports is just too powerful.
What a waste of money, does he really need the write off that bad?
