Boy do I miss John Stewart. This guy blows.
We got this coverage because news networks became far more interested in profit than in news. It’s just entertainment now. That’s why Trump is even a thing. It was profitable to cover his idiotic statements. It was profitable to give him air time because it drew in viewers and readers. His campaign was created by the media.

Using 10 minutes of Trump coverage to explain…poor use of time.
That pic of Trump as a one man band was an insult to Dick Van Dike!
I always wondered how much of TDS was Stewart and how much was the writers, except what I noticed was with Jon in non-TDS bits like on O’Reilly, he came across almost exactly the same.So although I would say Noah blows, he’s definitely not at the level Jon was, but maybe with time.
That’s the nugget and case in point, I came to TPM yesterday at one point and the entire home page, with the exception of 3 headlines/links, was about Trump.
