quote Twitter rather, that Sanders is being cockblocked by the DNC
I really miss Stewart.
I want to know the names of the other three Sanders staff who were spying on Hillary’s data in that data breach that the Sanders staff were screeching about, saying how victimized they were, even though Hillary was the victim. The fourth was fired, but we have a right to know the names of the other perps. Why is it a secret? Was Sanders himself one of them? Or even his own family members who work on his campaign? His wife was involved enough roughly about a dozen years ago on his Senate campaign, from what I’ve read, that she collected $30,000 in salary, so we know she plays a big role in his campaigns.
Cockblocked? He really said that? What a moronic thing to say. I haven’t heard or read about that word in ages. He outta be sanctioned for that term.
They are just “too busy” to bother will silly little things like being transparent. Thus, no completed tax returns have been released.
Neither have his speeches and interviews in Cuba and Nicaragua. Hell, he only released a vague high level healthcare plan hours before the final debate in Iowa, even though he promised to do so weeks earlier. And then he promptly changed it the next day.
So no, based on his past, I wouldn’t hold my breathe waiting for Sanders to release any personal or campaign information.
I miss Stewart too, Trevor is nice enough but just a little off, Seth Meyers is getting better and better, not to mention Sam B.
Dare I say it? Okay, I dare. Even Romney was more transparent than this.
Especially in his quiet room.
that is unhinged
I have major differences with the DNC and especially Debs, but come on! If they wanted to fuck over Sanders, why would they allow him to run in the primary with the support of the Democratic Party if he won’t even identify as a Democrat, as though it is beneath him (which, as a life-long Democrat, really insults me personally and pisses me off)?. They could just tell him to fuck off and go to the RNC. He even admitted he 's only running as a Dem to get media attention, since he would be virtually ignored in an independent run. Yeah, the DNC needs major reforms, but Bernie is no virgin queen here.
All I want to hear fromDWS is when she is resigning.strong text
I agree with you. Additionally, Sanders is a one note candidate, weak on foreign policy, in fact waiting to hear what his policies will be.
I’ve seen some clips from Full Frontal, and oh boy she slays! She and Oliver are currently my favorites.
Jimmy Fallon seemed like he was better later and I wonder if it’s because he’s targeting to a different audience. Hope if Seth ever moves earlier that he won’t change.
Well…there is this: Bernie Sanders cares about cockblocking, too
[Twenty-one-year-old Bernie Sanders wrote a lengthy piece in the University of Chicago paper, the Maroon,
railing against the University’s commitment to preserving the chastity
of its student body. Basically, UChicago had an awfully cockblocking
curfew back in the day, which was supposedly intended to preserve the
virtue of its lady students. ]

My argument with DWS is a more prosaic one; she has failed us as a leader. She abandoned Howard Dean’s 50 state strategy and embarked on the worst support campaign for the mid terms I’ve ever seen, with email blasts entitled “Total Defeat” “We’re Doomed” “No Hope” “Permanent minority” and other gems which had the overall effect of suppressing the vote in a hugely important election. She has undertaken inside the beltway stratagems that ignore everything we have learned since 2004. Much like the Romney campaign they are using an outdated polling model which has disastrous results. The coup de grace however, was her sponsorship of a bill favorable to Payday Lenders in Florida, perhaps the most unsavory and antisocial banking model currently in use.
These activities are not what I expect from my chair, and she had better be packing her stuff as this is written, because she’s on the way out. I am not alone in my feelings.
What are you going on about? Nobody cares. That shit’s over. Water under the bridge.
Frankly, I’m a little wierded out by the rabid Sanders bashing in the thread. It’s borderline not rational, like there’s cropped up some sort of foaming-at-the-mouth backlash at Sanders and folks can’t let go of it even though he’s going to lose. Folks need to relax.
And before you get your knickers in a twist, I’ll say it again: I’ve supported Hillary from the get-go, but anyone acting like she’s a peach…and going at Sanders in the same way you feel like he is gong at her is doing so…is fooling themselves.
No sexism going on here.
Samantha Bee should be the host. This guy just doesn’t get it.
I think the chair of the DNC is selected by the entire committee at the beginning of an administration, but I don’t understand how it works so I could be wrong, but because Dean remains a full tilt cheerleader for Clinton, wouldn’t it be some kind of justice if she could influence his selection as next DNC chair. No apologizing, no whining, just strategy.
@westcoast In the rush to demonstrate diversity they overlooked another minority who would’ve been so much better at this and had earned the right to be considered…
Reading your posts here it doesn’t appear you are a Clinton supporter. However, that is your right one way or the other. It seems to me most TPM posters do favor Clinton. And there is a lot of fodder to bash Sanders or at least question his policies. His interview testerday needs to be read by every Democrat. His tax returns should be released. Jane’s husband was not running for President last year or the year before so she should have them
