I’ve heard this sentiment expressed to me before – and its not a coincidence that it always comes from evangelical Christians. Their only reason to support Israel is because they see it as the catalyst of armageddon. And if jews don’t accept Christ, we burn with the rest of the heathens. Funny, I just don’t consider this a sign of actual “support.” Just self-serving – and creepy.

Allow this Jew to answer: I generally oppose candidates for the highest office in the land who single out certain ethnic groups as the cause of our nation’s problems, especially when said candidates propose subjecting said ethnic groups to heightened scrutiny and surveillance from our nation’s intelligence and law enforcement communities.
