So, in the unlikely event that Cruz should be elected, we should apply the same rules to him - nothing during his ‘lame duck’ term - which should be the final 3-1/2 years of his term.
He also appears to forget that, even if the nomination goes forward, Obama will only be President for the first 3 - 6 months of the new Justice’s term. So him (or her, if not this one) siding with Obama is unrealistic.
And as to Washington Dealmakers (maybe we should re-name the Redskins???), Cruzie, baby, you only wish you were one of them - as it is, no one will have anything to do with you.

For a person touted as highly intelligent it puzzles me Cruz is oblivious the art of governing is defined by making deals. Since our nation's founding the Executive and Legislative branches have without interruption made deals with each other. WTF? Were his early formative years spent in Canada or something? Did some damned foreigner that was often drunk or absent influence his thinking? Oh, wait.............
