carson saying he was heading to florida and turning that into he is dropping out is not “passing on news reports.” it is creating a false narrative. crudz excels in all things false.
exactly… Cruz just served notice to his staff that any time he orders them to do something nefarious, they are responsible for it.
…when the day comes that the Iowa authorities actually look for a head to roll, Ted’s already announced publicly that someone other than himself will be decapitated.
Every smart candidate’s got their own Scooter Libby waiting in the wings to fall on some stupid-sword for them. Sometimes they actually volunteer for it.
But I’d wager, getting to know Ted more everyday, that whoever takes the fall for this wasn’t expecting to go down.

If Iowa doesn’t do something serious to stop this, you can bet the Cruz crew will keep at it.
Before this is over, if they aren’t somehow checked as they leave all these bodies behind, their desperation may prove to be an in-depth study into the many ways to cheat in an election when the status quo is NOT in your corner.
The fact they think their actions are somehow obscure, the way they used to be before the internet, is pretty good evidence they are from the older generation.
There are no secrets.
Everything they have done is going to be exposed, you can’t function in politics these days without that exposure, but the old timers have not figured that out yet.
Still, they go about their nefarious business as if it is 1955 and there are just three detached and barely relevant news services vaguely following them in their campaigns. They seem oblivious that there’s a world of hackers, official and unofficial, who are watching every move.
lets be honest, if he was being honest he’d have said…
“I don’t make a practice of scapegoating staff members EXCEPT when it’s politically convenient,” Cruz added.
What does that even mean? Is he taking the blame personally? Or is he giving everyone a free pass?
