Discussion for article #244838
Donnie Dipstick and sCruz do the Marx brothers mirror routine…
“The most important question for anyone in a Republican primary to ask is how do we distinguish between who’s telling the truth and who is yet another politician just saying on the trail what they think we want to hear,” Cruz said during the interview…"
Given that we’re talking about mostly old, white, New Hampshire Republican voters here, this is, a pretty damn heavy intellectual lift.
…Cruz criticized Trump for being absent during the Senate debate over the Gang of Eight bill in 2013,…
And how, pray tell, is a non-member of the Senate supposed to participate in a debate?
Cruz replied. “I like Donald Trump. I respect him.”
Cruz states Trump is a liar and a hypocrite. He claims Trump supports politicians and policies that are anathema to our national interest. He accuses him of inaction and neglect in a time of critical national need for leadership and guidance.
Yet he likes and respects him.
Cruz is asking us to consider the biblical virtue he exhibits by stripping people of their most basic needs and banishing them to a life of desperation.
Cruz to Trump: “You were nowhere to be found when I was pandering for headlines during a Senate debate.”
Pander…, panda…, whatever. Panders are certainly not going to be extinct any time soon.
‘You shall know them by their fruits.’
They all smell of durian to me.
People like Cruz, by their very existence (especially after Cruz’ stunning warmongering over the U.S. Naval personnel in Iran), themselves negate the belief of the existence of Karma.
Either that, or Karma has a large margin of error.
I called Cruz’s DC office and asked why he’s against “amnesty” when Reagan was not only for it, passed it. His minion said, “Reagan was wrong to do it.” That’s conservative heresy. St. Ronald cannot do wrong, just like Jesus.
By the same token, where was Cruz when Trump was negotiating his last real estate deal?
This is like the Iran/Iraq war. I don’t know who to root for.
Or quite a time-lag.
Cruz is asking his would-be constituents to respect his always wrong and destructive policies and actions, because at least he’s been consistent!
If one is a Republican, this is actually a compelling argument.
Root for the citizens and hope they survive.
Same thing going on here.
Ted Cruz on the couch.
If you didn’t stand up and fight amnesty when the stakes were live or die,
Live or die for some poor kid sent back to El Salvador to face gang violence, but not for low-T white guys.
I don’t know why I was surprised by the over dramatization when I read that phrase? I mean everything all the republicans candidates are saying about where the country is, is just so over the top.
