I dislike Cruz, and disagree with this current excuse to stifle Obama, but on this point I agree. What changed in Israel that the FAA decided to lift the ban. Rockets are coming in all the time. There never should have been a ban in the first place. El Al flights all took off and landed before,during, and after the ban since they are not beholden to the US FAA.

You’ll notice he hasn’t said he’ll let the nominations proceed if he gets answers, just that he won’t if he doesn’t. Because he also apparently doesn’t understand the difference between overflight and landing or takeoff.

The thing is, I doubt he believes any of this. He’s just an egomaniac.

The ban was on Ben Gurion Airport not Israel as Ovda Airport was opened for international flights.

Shouldn’t you have to know something, at least, to be a senator?

I always like it when the latest conservative idiot is considered “brilliant.” Dear Senator Cruz of dumf***kistan: the reason the FAA doesn’t want the flights is that rockets have landed close to the airport. They don’t want a planeload of dead Americans. It’s that simple. It takes the brain of a five year old to figure that out.
