Not true …they are friends and have traveled together and dine together often…Senility, I would say!
I haven’t thought of that joke in years, so I had to go look it up!

I honestly wish there was a way to force a Justice to retire based upon mental or physical health. We can, theoretically do that with the President.
Tony’s retort-----
“They all sound alike…”
quite certain that 36 sessions of 220 volt electro-shock therapy would make for a remarkable improvement in Justice Scalia.
adementiapatient says what?
Has happened to me a lot. I could say that Scalia is an old guy and is more apt to make a mistake like that, and maybe that was the cause in this case, but I’ve gotten it from much younger ones too.
Senile or not, he needs to resign.
And yet this article briefly mentions the case, doesn’t bother telling the reader what it’s about or how it was decided, or even what the vote was…just that it was an immigration case. Too much like work I guess. And we all know, Scalia getting a big laugh is more important than the often times absurd decisions he’s reached while on the bench.
Can’t tell those Jews apart, can you Tony?
You’re correct, I am sure we will see a lot of different things said about it but I am tired today and just want to be accurate. Thats his antisemitic side showing itself seen and heard variations my entire life. I am only half ethnic Jew but I experience the full salad bar as i “look jewish”: as they say
Reminds me of “Barney Fag”.
Absolutely.
No problem Justice Sicily…
Dumb Tony slipped and showed that he’s just a bigot.
Alas, Regan proved that is only a theory.
Yeah…so long as the people around him prevent him from being caught or doing the right thing.
This is funny?
“Erupts” in the headline makes the laughter seem convivial when the text of the story:
Onlookers in the courtroom laughed when Scalia asked: “What did I say?”
Scalia reportedly shook his head and apologized
Makes the laughter seem nervous and the Justice’s behavior pitiable, Rehnquist like…
I guess Scalia doesn’t take his job all that seriously anymore. But that’s OK we all age and interests chance. So maybe he should move on and “spend quality time with the family”.
