It’s interesting that he wanted to avoid Bagram AFB. I can’t understand why anyone would want to avoid the home of a notorious CIA black site well-known for its abuse, torture, deaths and/or disappearances of nobody knows how many illegally detained individuals. It’s as if he doesn’t trust Americans. Imagine that!
